Shawn and Camila stepped out of the house. Her mom walked them out to Shawn's car since Camila's car was going to get dropped off at her place. 

Camila was holding on to Shawn's hand so hard that if she squeezed the slightest bit tighter she would draw blood.not that Shawn cared he was too busy finally realizing exactly what he did as his adrenaline and jealousy were washing away. 

 "I'll talk to him, mija. He'll come around, I'll call you when he does," Sinu said to her daughter before turning to her daughter's boyfriend."Now, Mr. Mendes-" 

 "Call me Shawn, ma'am," he told Sinu. He was surprised that she even took their side. 

 "Shawn... I would tell your parents about you two before my husband impulsively attacks your company..." She said to Shawn kindly and he nodded. T

hen her whole demeanor changed, she looked serious. "and this is my daughter's life you have in your hands. I let her have her freedom with you, don't make me regret it." Shawn didn't show it, but Camila could tell he was scared or at least a little freaked out. 

"Mama!"

 "No, it's fine," Shawn said looking at her reassuringly. "Thank you, Mrs. Cabello." 

 "Shawn please, call me Sinu. You might be my son-in-law after all." Sinu joked, seeing as her daughter looked very stressed. The least she wanted was for her daughter to smile for a second. Camila did smile, though it was small, and as her mom predicted it only lasted for a second. 

They walked up to the car and Shawn opened the door for Camila and walked around. The second Shawn got his seat belt buckled and turned to Camila, she grabbed his face and kissed him. 

She needed it after all of that. She just let go and melted into him. The kiss was soft and calming for her, right now, Shawn was the only person who could calm her down. 

"I love you." She hummed into the kiss. "I am sorry." She mumbled again as tears rolled down her face making Shawn pull away in confusion. 

 "Sorry? Baby for what?" He whispered, wiping the tears off her face with his thumb while cradling her face in his hand. 

 She leaned into his hand. "For everything, for leaving you, for this whole situation." She sniffled.

 Shawn shook his head, taking her hands. "Never, apologize, for, the, things, you, do, out, of, love." He said kissing each finger between every word. 

 She was a hopeless romantic since birth and has always imagined what true love felt like. It was moments like this that made her realize how much Shawn actually loves her, she never thought love could feel like this. 

Everything felt different with Shawn than the other guys. The butterflies, the touches, the kisses, the 'I love you's, the chemistry, everything. 

 Shawn stared at her before turning to start the car. He left his hand, her thighs rubbing his thumb on it. 

As he pulled on to the road, Camila grabbed his free arm and hugged it to his chest while his hand cradled her head, running his hand through her hair. She turned her head to kiss his palm. She didn't want to let him go anymore, so that's how she decided, no more letting go.
