Camila's POV

We were all in the backyard, singing along with Shawn and Aaliyah around the huge fire that Manny and Shawn had made. They were all laughing really loud and talking about everything that happened while Shawn was on tour and I couldn't be happier.

But there was a little problem.

I was cold. I hadn't ever felt such a strong cold in my entire life. I was used to living in a hot place and it's almost never cold. I could barely move my hands, my fingers or the rest of my body, but I tried to stay calm because I didn't want to let anyone worry.

My hands weren't closing anymore and my whole body was shivering. I was shaking and feeling tired, which is awkward because I and Shawn slept during the afternoon.

I could notice that I was breathing slower now and it was kinda hurting but I was still trying to pretend everything was okay. But it wasn't, I was pretty sure that it wasn't. I tried hard to breathe but the sharping pain in my chest wasn't helping. I felt like there were fractals of glass going down my throat.

Shawn looked at I and I tried to smile at him but his grin disappeared when he noticed the pain on my face, dropping his guitar on the snowed ground.

"Babe, what are I feeling?" He sat fastly on the trunk beside me.

"I-I can't..." I tried to speak but I couldn't continue because the pain was irradiating all over my body, the tears starting to sprout in my eyes.

"Jesus Christ. You're cold." He yelled. "Oh my... Let's get you inside." He held my shoulders but my body was entirely freezed, I couldn't move. "Love, please, stand up. We need to get you inside."

"I can't." I repeated, feeling the tears starting to stream down my face. "Shawn, I can't." The despair grew inside I, making the situation even worse.

"She's having hypothermia." I heard Karen saying and suddenly everything was clear. I wasn't used to facing such a strict winter. "Take her inside now, Shawn." And then they were all running. In a bunch of seconds I was already in the living room sitting on the couch with some blankets around my body and Shawn holding me very tight.

"Do I think you can drink this tea?" Aaliyah kneeled in front of me but I denied.

"Let me do this." Shawn caught the cup and blew it before taking it to my lips. I took small sips and even though it was hard to swallow, it helped the shakes decrease a bit. I was still feeling too cold and the possibility of maybe having to go to the hospital was scaring me.

"I did increase the heater, hope it helps." Manuel said, sitting on the other couch, facing me worriedly.

"I'm sorry. We shouldn't have done that fire. I should've imagined that it wouldn't be good for you." Shawn said, rubbing my arms.

"It's not my fault." I was finally able to speak again, which clearly made Shawn and the others breathe a bit relieved. "I won't need to go to the hospital, will I?" I asked fearing his answer.

"I hope I won't. Seems like it's getting better. my lips are getting red again." Karen said, giving I a maternal smile. She's always super protective with me.

Long minutes passed and it was easier to breathe now and I wasn't shaking as much as before. I could move my hands and legs again and my fingers were closing perfectly now.

"Feeling better?" Shawn asked very low close to my ear.

"Yes." I nodded, resting my sweated head on his shoulder. "Thank I."

"I love you." He murmured, kissing gently on my forehead.
