Hey guys, a Skylox update! Finally!
Sky's POV
Ty was hyperventilating. Tears were streaking his pale feels, his eyes red, and his small body was shaking. "Sky, how didn't I see?! Ive been through that! I didn't even bat an eye, and there she was going crazy with pain, so crazy she killed herself!" I held him closer. "Ty, no one saw, and you couldn't have. Please, stop crying." I took his wrists I'm my hands, and he looked up at me. "Ty, I'm going to check your wrists now, and I'm hoping there aren't any scares there, okay?" He looked at me with big eyes. I slowly raised his sleeves to see angry red marks. A tear made its way down my cheek. I pulled him closer. "Ty," I whispered. He pulled away. "Sky, I'm-" I cut him off with an angry sigh. "Ty, I can't do this. You have to stop it. It hurts me too, your know." He sighed too. "I know Sky. But... It just Hurst to know that I couldn't save her. I was as helpless as every one else." "Ty! You couldn't help it! None of us could tell, and you were no different. And that's okay, even if you've been there, you aren't perfect. None of us are, and thats what makes us human. You can't hold everything that goes wrong against yourself." He buried his face in my shirt, and we sat there for a long time, before Jerome called us downstairs for dinner.
Damon's POV
I stared at her pale face. She had come downstairs. Her clothing hung off her like she was a hanger, and she looked like she was depleted of her life source. I walked to her in two strides, and she hugged me. Amia walked over to us both, pulled me off, and held Amber close. "Oh Amber." She murmured. Amber looked at her, and opened her mouth as if she were about to say something. But then she fell to the floor, and lay there, crumpled. I rushed to her side, and fell to my knees next to her. I leaned in, and put my head on her chest. Instead of her steady heartbeat I heard nothing. I yelled in surprise. "Amia, call 911, NOW." She rushed to the phone, struggling to keep her hands from shaking. The sirens soon entered our block, and we rushed her out, in my arms. The paramedics took her, put her onto a stretcher, then into the ambulance. They closed the door and left before I could take more than one breath. I crumpled to my knees. "How is this fair?" I yelled. Amia pulled me up,and pushed me towards the car. "Damon, we need to go, now." I nodded, and opened the door. I got in, and soon enough we were at the hospital. I ran into the Emergency Reception. (Idk what its actually called) "We are here for a girl who is really skinny ,on d just rushed in here." The woman nodded, and typed away on the computer. "Room 129." She said. I started running towards the hallway, and looked frantically at the signs. "90-190" I muttered, and started running down the hall again. Amia was hard on my heels. We ran up stairs, and through halls, until we finnaly reahced the right corridor. I slowed to a walk, and looked from door to door. There it was. 129. I opened the door slowly, and Amia clutched my arm. There she was, laying on a bed next to a curtain and a side table. Her hair was forming a black and rainbow halo. Just then the doctor appeared from around the curtain. "I'm sorry. Ms...?" "Amber..." "She had a heart attack. She was too deprived of food for too long, and it didn't help that she took a lethal dose of iron. She is dead." I look at him blankly. "What?" I said dazedly. Amia looked at me. "No no no no..." "Our adopted daughter just committed suicide too..." "Adopted...? No matter. I'm sorry. You'll have a while to decide what you want to with her body."
