"I just want to talk to you about something. Well if it's okay with you? If you're busy, I can just tell you this some other time." Sabi niya sakin.

"Uh, sure." Yan lang yung lumabas sa bibig ko.

"So... I guess I'll leave you two to talk. Basta Dale, taken na yan!" Sabi ni Aiden at tumakbo palayo samin.

Sino yung sinasabihan niyang taken?

"Anong gusto mong pag-usapan?" Sabi ko pagkaalis ni Aiden.

"Tour me around. I'll say it while we're walking around the campus." Sabi niya at hinila niya ako paalis doon sa tinatayuan namin.

We walked for about 5 minutes already. Pero hindi pa rin siya nagsasalita. He's just busy looking around the place.

"Is it important?" Simula ko.

Nakuha ko yung kanyang atensyon dahil napatingin siya sakin. "Yung ano?"

"Yung sasabihin mo sakin." He just smiled at me.

"It's actually about Van." Ng dahil sa sinabi niya, it made me wonder.

"Ano naman yung pag-uusapan natin tungkol sa kanya?"

"I have to apologize for his behavior. I know that he's clinging to you too much, that it might irrirate you."

"He really is an annoying person." But he does get my attention.

"I just want you to not push him away." Napatigil siya sa pag-lakad.

"Huh?" He doesn't make any sense.

"It's actually the first time I saw him being so attached to a person na hindi kasama sa grupo namin. Well he's actually not like that when he's with us. But all I can say is that... He's better than he was before."

I don't know how to react. I remained silent. I want to hear everything he wants to say.

"We all got that unpleasant past that we hide. No one is an exemption to it. That's why, when I saw him smile because of you... Ayokong bumalik ulit siya sa dati. I don't want him to be alone."

As I could remember, both of them were childhood friends. So, they really know much about each other. Good thing for them, tumagal ang friendship nila. Unlike mine.

"Why are you telling me this?" Isn't that supposed to be a secret between them?

It's making me curious as hell!

"Van used to be behind the shadow of his older brother. Well actually, still now he is in his older brother's shadow. Palagi silang ikinukumpara ng kanilang ama ang isa't-isa. Van wanted to be noticed by his father. He wanted to make him proud. But his brother is just much more better than him." He has a brother?

"They're actually both smart, but because of their different likes, his father favored the eldest son more. His brother is always focused on his studies, nothing more. Unlike Van, he likes music ever since. Pero hindi iyon tanggap ng kanilang ama. Our father believes that music is just nothing."
