Getting To Know Better

"Kung ano man ang gagawin niyo ngayon, leave me out of it. I still have so much to do." Sabi ko at ibinaling yung atensyon sa aking laptop.

I still need to finish my essay. I'm practicing for my final essay output for Harvard. I need it to be the best. Nothing is perfect in this world. So if I can't make my paper perfect at least it can be the best among all entries.

"Sus kj!" I just rolled my eyes at him.

"Mamaya na yan Miss President! I really wanted to know more about you." Sabi sakin ni Joanna.

"Kami rin!" Sabi naman ni Andrew.

Ano naman yung gusto nilang malaman sakin? Just like them, I'm just a normal person. Someone that has a lot of flaws in life.

Bigla bigla na lang bumukas yung pintuan. Iniluwa doon si Diane na hinihingal pa. Tumakbo siguro papunta dito yung babaeng ito. Tiningnan niya ang buong silid at napako ang kanyang tingin sa kanyang pinakaminamahal.

"So they were right! Nasa detention nga kayo." She said while hiding her excitement.

Rumors spread so fast huh.

"What are you doing here Diane? Didn't you have class right now?" I asked her.

It might sound weird but I know the schedule of all the members of the council. Just to keep them in touch if I ever need one of them.

"Eh Miss President, kalat sa buong campus yung news tungkol sa pagkadetention ni Ai— I mean ninyo. Hehehe. I just wanted to make sure if you're alright. Yes! Tama, gusto ko lang makasiguro na okay lang yung President namin." Agad naman siyang lumapit sakin at may ibinulong. "Dito lang muna ako Miss Pres ha?"

"Suit yourself."

"Diane! Since nandito kana bat hindi ka nalang sumali laro namin." Joanna asked her.

"Laro? Kasama si Aid— este sila? Sige I'm in!!" Laking ngiti niyang sabi at pasimpleng lumapit sa kinaroroonan nila.

"Miss President, mamaya niyo na lang tapusin kung ano man yung ginagawa niyo. I really wanted to know more about you." Lumapit sa akin si Joanna.

"Is it weird that you don't know anything that much about your President?" Aiden curiously asked.

"Well, the only person who knows a lot of her is absolutely no one." Diane spoke.

"Then today's the day that we could get to know her better." Masiglang sabi ni pulang manok.

"And what makes you say that?" Itinaas niya yung kanyang kilay which made me alarmed.

I knew he's up to something!

"Fine!" I said while closing my laptop.

Joanna smiled and looked at them. "It's settled then, kanino tayo magsisimula." Everyone laid their eyes into my direction which made my eye roll.

"Araw-araw ka bang dinadatnan? 'Bat ang sungit-sungit mo?" Pang-aasar ng isang manok dito.

"Gusto mong ipatapon kita sa mga hayop dito sa school?" Agad naman niyang itinikom ang kayang bibig.

"Hayop sa school?" Tanong ni Dale

"Yan kasi bigla-bigla ka na lang nawawala. Mayroon silang mini farm house dito. Andaming iba't-ibang hayop doon." Seven explained to him.
