Chapter 26: His Dad

STEPH'S POV

Nandito na kami sa Reggae Bar. Hindi na sumama si Tita Amanda dahil party raw ito naming mga teen agers. Ienjoy ko lang daw, may bantay naman daw ako dito at si kuya yun. Kanina ko pa katabi si Daryle. Magkahawak kamay parin kami, wala namang nakakapansin. Ayoko siyang bitawan. I want him to feel that he's not alone.

"Steph, can we talk?" Oh, the bassist of Polarity is here. When I was about to say no he talked again.

"Please." sabi nanaman nito. Tinignan ko naman si Daryle, tumango naman ito. Tatanggalin na niya sana ang kamay namin pero hinigpitan ko ang hawak dito bago nagsalita.

"Babalik ako. Dito ka lang ha?" tiyaka ko binitawan ang kamay namin na magkawahak at tumayo para sumunod na lang si Dylan sa akin. Huminto ako sa may bar counter. Dito kasi may pinakakonting tao.

"So, anong kailangan mo?" sabi ko naman sa kaniya.

"Pretend to be my girlfriend" seryoso nitong sabi.

"HAHAHAHA! Seryoso ka?--- I'm sorry but I'm not into commitments even though it's just a pretend one." I seriously said the I'm sorry blabla part.

"Well, kung ayaw mo madami akong pwedeng ikalat. Una yung pagiging anak mo ng HU. Pangalawa yung picture natin noon sa bar at yung  video scandal natin sa condo mo. Pwede kong ikalat yun at isend nadin sa Daddy mo." Seriously?!

"First of all, your first reason was already declared by myself in HU. Second, the picture? All of them knows that. Video? As if there's cctv on my condo, and as if you have the authority to get some record. Lastly, even if you send it to my father right now he'll not be mad, instead he will be disgusted of the person who sent it to him. He's aware of everything I'm doing, and having ONS is not new to him." I seriously said and trying to supress my laugh, but then I failed.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Is that what you call-- pfft. Threatining? Hahahaha!--pfft." I try to control my laughter when he looked at me in the eye.

"I don't care, but I really need someone who can pretend to be my girl--"

"Pfft. Now you're marriage is going to be arrange? Pfft. Does arrange marriage still exist? Haha!" Can't help it. HAHAHA!

"Tsk. It's not like that okay? I'm popular---"

"WEH?! Bakit di kita kilala?" Nagpipigil na ako ng tawa dito baka kabagan na ako. Oh noes!

"I'm dead serious here Stephanie! As I said, I'm popular every girl wanted me to the point that they stalk me until my house and trespass my property, and the solution that the management gave me was to announce that I have a girlfriend. I need you as a decoy."

"Every girl? Eh di naman ak-- *death glare from Dylan* Eh tanga ka rin kasi, pano ka nila nasusundan ng di mo namamalayan? Napakatan-- *glare again* Ehem, I'll not accept it." I'm bluffing. Makikipaglaro ako sa kaniya. Para di narin ako magfling ang papanget na ng tao ngayon. Lels.
