Scaly Situation

Tova held her breath when three registration came to the Hokage office, it was announce that they have been killed. Not only that but their faces were missing from their bodies, Tova held the registrations with shaking hand. This was reminding her of when her village was attacked, it stared with their guards bodies being found just laid in the open. Their faces also missing, she was just a child so she don't really remember what else, but hearing that from her father, she will never forget the fear and confusion. It wasn't long after their village was taken over, Tova will never forget those eyes. The eyes that killed her village, the eyes that took her parents life, the eyes she last saw before blacked out right before they took her own life. Tova frost covered half of the papers in her hands as she felt the familiar fear and anger coming forward, "Tova!" The Hokage hollered.

Tova snapped out looking to the Sarutobi who also stared at her, he gently took the half frozen papers from her sitting them on his lap hiding them. "Thank you. I will make sure Orochimaru is located." Sarutobi told his Shinobis. "Yes Sir." They all said before disappearing. Tova let out a sigh staring at her hands, "Tova." Sarutobi called. Tova clenched her fist holding them to her chest while eyeing the Hokage, "Yes Sir." She timidly answered back. "Do you finally want to tell me about those powers of yours?" He asked. Tova sigh shaking her head, "You knew this whole time?" She asked.

Sarutobi took a puff of his pipe letting out the smoke, "I knew for a while, I just needed conformation. You and Shikaku did a good job keeping your powers hidden for so long, I knew you felt familiar that day during the Nine Tail attack." Sarutobi explained. "Don't worry, I promise I won't say anything. Now that Orochimaru have showed up I want you to be even more careful. We don't know what he wants, but i'm sure it's nothing we are prepared for. Stay alert Tova, this village may need your help again." Sarutobi told her. Tova nod her head, she bowed in respect "Thank you sir. I'm sorry for keeping this a secret for so long." She said. Sarutobi smiled at the young ninja, "Don't worry young Tova, I know you did it for a good reason. I understand, I should be thanking you for saving this village. I believe without you, and without Minato we would not be standing here." He told her. Tova smiled at him, "Please Sir Hokage, Minato did all the work. He deserve all the credit and more, along with Kushina." Tova said. 

Sarutobi only laugh nodding his head, "Modest as ever Tova. Alright, now back to business make sure everyone is on guard. We need to make sure everyone is safe while they are in the village. Thank you Tova." Sarutobi ordered. Tova nod her head, "Yes sir." She turned to leave before the Hokage stopped her, "And Tova. What ever made you fearful, remember I will protect everyone here. Even if it cost me my life." Sarutobi reassured. Tova only smiled at him nodding her head, "I know sir, lets hope it doesn't come to that." She gave him a thumbs up before exiting his office. Tova leaned on the door letting out a breath, "Orochimaru, so that's his name." She gently said. She glared at the ceiling with anger, not noticing the door nob was covered in frost, "Is this what you've been warning me about. Is this why you've been calling me." Tova asked. She let out a sigh, "Orochimaru huh, that sounds just like a snake name." Tova mumbled to herself, flashes of her childhood came to her vision, clenching her fist as she walked she begin to feel like that scared little girl again, "He must've been that woman. Thats why I froze." Tova was beginning to put together the pieces, "Now I understand, even if I didn't know at the time it was him. I even had Shikamaru with me, what happen when I come face to face with him. Will I freeze up again? No, I can't afford to do that, to many people that I love depend on me." Tova  said, "No more freezing, I need to make sure Orochimaru is stopped and pay for what he did." Tova growled.

Tova was having such an internal crisis she didn't realize her eyes changing color as well as shape, the air around her was freezing. Ever step she took ice filled the spot, Tova was so caught up in her anger that she didn't realize Inoichi stopping her, "Tova calm down." He said. Tova gasp her eyes returning to normal before looking at the older man, "Inoichi." She said. Inoichi smiled at her than looked at the frozen footsteps, "You need to calm down, your turning this hallway into an ice rank." He told her. Tova took a deep breath, "I'm sorry." She said. Inoichi looked to the young woman with concern, "You ok? What got you so worked up?" He asked. Tova explained to him what's been going on, Inoichi nod his head while listening, "I see, make sense. Don't let Orochimaru frighten you. You're surrounded by people that loves you, plus your stronger than most of us here." Inoichi rub her head gently like a small child, earning him a glare, "Thank you Inoichi. Now please stop messing up my hair." She mumbled. "OH! Sorry!" Inoichi laugh, "Now, let's catch up. It's been so long since we spoke, do Lord Hokage have a plan on how to deal with this situation?" Inoichi asked.

Tova nod her head, "I'm sure he do.I wouldn't put it pass him." She told him. Inoichi nod his head, "What ever it is we will be ready. That freak won't know what hit him." Inochi gave her a smile along with a thumbs up, Tova laugh nodding her head, "Of course." She simply said. Inoichi threw his arms around her, "Plus we have you. You are one of the strongest women I know, I know whatever come our way. We can count on you and everyone involved to protect the village." Inoichi reassured. Tova stared at the man with wide eyes, she gave him a smile with tears in her eyes, "Thank you Inoichi." She said. The tall man nod his head, "Of course Tova." He said.
