Proposal

Kakashi felt everything inside his body shake like a leaf, today was the day he was ready to step up and make Tova his fiancé. Kakashi stared at the ring that's been in hiding for the past year, he picked it up staring at the box like it was his lifeline. He let out a sigh hoping she will like it and that he picked the right one, he asked Shikamaru his opinion on the ring but the young man only shrugged his shoulders without care, "I don't know man. Women require to much thinking." He said. Kakashi shook his head thinking about the young man and his useless help. "Well, it's either now or never." Kakashi stared at himself in the mirror, "Come on, you're acting like you're going on a S rank mission." Kakashi said to himself. He stared down at ring box letting out a sigh, "I thought I never would be here, asking a woman to marry me. Not just any woman, but my best friend." He gave himself one last look nodding his head heading out the door.

Tova was at her parents house taking care of nothing in particular when Yoshino came walking in whistling a tone that seem far to happy. Tova looked up at her mother with confusion spotting her eyeing Tova with a secret smile, Tova than looked around seeing her father smiling towards her than quickly looking out the window as if he didn't anything. Tova hope her brother would clue her in on whats going on, "Hey Shikamaru." She whispered. Shikamaru opened his eyes slightly as he laid on his back enjoying the sun, "What?" He asked. "What's with mother and father?" She whispered as the two adults kept smiling at her, Shikamaru sat up staring at his parents, he made sure Tova wasn't paying attention to him before he cut his throat telling his parents to, 'cut it out.' He quickly went back to normal when she turned to him, Tova stared at her little brother up and down seeing his eyes go slightly wider. She stood up placing her hands on her hips, "Alright! What's going on here?" She asked glaring at the other Naras. "Nothing!" They all replied.

Shikamaru slap his face, "Nothing Tova, just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet." He said. Tova eyed him than her parents who left mysteriously. "I'm going for a walk. You guys are acting all strange." She mumbled. Shikamaru watch her leave than glared at his parents, "Are you guys crazy, she could've found out." He said harshly to his parents, "I'm sorry. It's just my baby is getting married!" Yoshino gushed like a proud mother. Shikaku nod his head with a smirk, "It's about time that prune step up. He can take on an enemy just fine but can't propose to the woman he loves." He smiled. Yoshino gave him a look making her husband blink in fear, "It took you over two years to propose to me Shikaku." She said. Shikamaru smiled at his father as he cleared his throat. "That's not the point." Shikamaru stared out the window looking at the clouds, "Well, I guess Kakashi is finally ready. I'm glad I think this secret was killing me slowly especially when he left the ring here when he went on missions." Shikaku shivered along with Yoshino, "Don't remind us." They told their son.

Tova sigh as she walked around the Nara compound, "What's with them? They are acting stranger than usual." She asked herself while holding her chin in concentration, she soon bump into a person making her stumble. A hand caught her arm pulling her to his chest, "Young Tova! Hello beautiful woman!" Guy shouted with a huge smile. Tova smiled back pulling away from her friend, "Hello Guy. Hello Lee. You look good and strong today." Tova greeted with a smile. The young Shinobi blushed at the compliment, "Thank you Tova Sensei. We've been training real hard." Lee said. Tova nod her head already knowing by how they look, "That's good, don't ever lose that fire Lee." Tova said while lifting her finger in the air, Lee pulled out his notebook writing it down, "Right! Good advice as always Tova Sensei." Lee quickly wrote down everything. Guy smiled at them slapping Tova on her back, "How are you doing Tova? Anything interesting happening?" He asked while wiggling his eyebrows. Tova thought about her family and nod her head, "Yeah, my family is acting really weird today. Do you know what it is?" She asked him.

Guy and Lee begin to sweat each looking around, Tova eyes widen at their behavior. "No, no. No idea here right Lee." Guys said while rubbing the back of his head. "No Sir! No idea at all." Lee saluted back. Tova eyed them coming closer to the two, Guy and Lee took a few steps back in fear. Before they can make a run for it Tova grab them by their body suits, "What's going on?" She growled at them. Guy and Lee shook their head waving their hands, "Nothing Tova Sensei." "Nothing Young Tova." The replied at the same time. Guy grab Lee from her grip running off, "We need to continue training! I'll see you later Tova!" He said taking off over the hills. Tova crossed her arms stomping her foot, "Oh, something is really going here." She said to herself.
