Moving Forward

Tova sigh as she looked out her window seeing Naruto finally returning to the village, "Well, he's finally back. Are you excited?" She asked with a smile watching the teenager climb up a post announcing his return. Kakashi closed his book from his seat putting it away, "Just a little. I can't wait to see how much he's grown." He answered. He stood behind her watching Naruto and Sakura finally reuniting after so long, "He got taller it seems. He's no longer a squirt." Tova giggled hearing her fiancé still make fun of his student. "No, he's taller for sure. He's growing to be a cutie as well." Tova teased with a sly look. Kakashi only ignore her much to his love frustration, Tova huff in defeat walking away from him with her nose in the air. "You could be more jealous you know." She whined. Kakashi smirk to himself than turned around, "Now that's he's here. We can move forward with our wedding, at least after I test out him and Sakura." Kakashi said. He pulled his fuming fiancé to him kissing the tip of her nose, Tova blush placing her hand on his chest, "That is what i'm more excited about." He whispered before kissing Tova.

Tova wrap her arms around his neck, pulling away she smiled at him rubbing his eye brow lovingly, "You should hurry. I'm sure he will be very excited to see you." She told him. Kakashi nod his head kissing her one last time, "Like I said hurry. The sooner this is over, the sooner we can wed!" Tova jump with excitement. They've been planning their wedding the whole two years of Naruto being away, everything was ready all they needed was just for the knucklehead to return so he can be apart of the ceremony. Kakashi chuckle nodding his head, "Alright, i'll see you later babe." Tova nod her head pushing him out the door, "Have fun love!" She shouted with a smile.

Tova smile was wipe from her face when she spotted her fiancé rushing off towards their home they recently brought together, she raised her eyebrow at him than rushed to the Hokage office. Tova smiled at her little brother, that was now taller than her, "Hey little brother." She greeted kissing him on his cheek much to his embarrassment when he heard everyone giggle, "Tova. How many time to I have to tell you to stop-" He was quickly cut off by his older sister, "Naruto! So good to see you." She smiled giving him a hug, "You're so tall! And handsome." She commented much to Naruto embarrassment. He rub his head with red cheeks, "Thank you Tova Sensei." He bashfully said. 

Tova smiled than handed him an envelope along with Jiraya, "These are for you two. Invitations for Kakashi and I wedding day!" She excitedly said. Shikamaru rolled his eyes at his sister excitement earning him a elbow to the rib by Temari, "Oh wow! You mean you two aren't even married yet?" Naruto asked as he looked at the beautiful card that was mostly written in Tova elegant hand writing, "Nope, we wanted to wait for you to return. Its only right after all, to have his students attend." Tova explained. Naruto smiled putting the invitation in his pouch, "So, when is this thing?" He asked. Tova smiled, "When ever he's done testing you and Sakura. By the way why isn't he testing you two now?" She asked.

Naruto eyes slanted while Jiraya looked out the window much to the Hokage amusement, "Well Tova." Lady Tsunade began while eyeing Jiraya, "It's because Pervy Sage here gave him a copy of his new book. So now Kakashi Sensei ran off wanted to read it instead of being our opponent!" Naruto whined. Tova glared at the white haired man who caught than turned around smiling, "Sorry Tova, it's such a masterpiece I couldn't keep him waiting." Jiraya tried to explained. Tova growled throwing a snowball at his face, "Yik!" Jiraya cried. "Now we have to wait even longer! Jiraya you knew better!" Tova cried dramatically while shaking the man. Shikamaru sigh pulling his sister off the poor man, "Tova clam down, you waited the long i'm sure you wan wait a few more days." 

Tova sigh knowing he's right, "Fine. Well I need to get to work. I expect you two soon." Tova gave Shikamaru another kiss before leaving back to her office. It wasn't long before a knock was heard on her door, "Come in." She answered. She was surprise to see Jiraya walking in, "Jiraya? How can I help you?" She greeted with a smile, she was about to stand but Jiray stopped her, "Please stay seated Tova." He said while pushing a chair over to her desk.

Tova nod her head, "Something you need?" She asked. Jiraya sigh, "I think your life may be in danger Tova." He started. Tova raised her eyebrow, "Oh?" Jiraya sigh once again, "I didn't want to tell you, I thought you and Kakashi would be married by now. But I must tell you now rather than later in case the Akatsuki make their move, and they are real soon." Jiraya eyed her. Tova sigh leaning back in her chair, "So, they're finally coming out hiding." She said. Jiraya nod his head, "It's no surprise really, bound to happen sooner or later." Tova clenched her teeth, "Why now? Why are they showing their hands? What are they after?" She asked.

Jiraya shrugged his shoulders, "Their ultimate objective is still unclear, but I know one thing, they want the fox spirit that Naruto has inside of him. As to why, you can be sure they have some evil purpose in mind. I'm afraid they may also have a purpose for you as well." Jiraya warned. Tova nod her head, "We can't be sure of course but it's better being safe than sorry later. Don't worry, i've going around spreading the word to our allies. They need to step up their security and be on guard, something coming so we all need to be on our toes." Jiraya smiled at her, he grab her hands in reassurance, "I know you can handle yourself Tova, but just be on guard and be ready." He told her. Tova nod her head squeezing his hand back, "Thank you Jiraya." She whispered as her mind was preoccupied with the information.

Once Jiraya left Tova rub her forehead, "You know you have nothing to fear young Tova." Xego said to her. Tova nod her head leaning on her desk, she eyed his small form that was laying across her papers, "I know Xego, but still. This shouldn't be taken lightly of course, these guys aren't something to sneeze at." Tova warned him. Xego nod his head, "I know Tova, we will be caution. Anything out of the ordinary we will be ready." Xego reassured. Tova smiled at him, she picked him up cradling him to her, "Can you promise me something." She quietly said to him. Xego nod his head, "Anything." Tova smiled, "If something were to happen to me, watch over my family. Make sure they are safe and don't do anything stupid." Xego laugh nodding his head, "I promise."

Jiraya just got finish telling Kakashi everything he told Tova, minus a few details as to not worry the young woman Fiance. Kakashi sigh hearing the news, "So now they're making their move." He than looked to Jiraya who eyed the younger man as well, "Do you think Tova is in danger as well? If they are after Naruto and who know what else, she could be on their list." Kakashi asked. Jiraya simply nod his head, "She could be, i'm not sure but I did tell her to be on guard just in case things take a turn." Jiraya told him, he knew Kakashi would be connecting the dots and couldn't hide much from the insightful man. Kakashi felt his heart pick up, this time in fear for the woman he love, "I won't allow that to happen, not to Naruto or Tova." Kakashi quietly growled.

Jiraya sigh, "You know Tova isn't going to allow anything to happen to the people she loves. She would rather give up her life than to let them hurt anyone. We need to be sure she can defend herself just like we need to be sure Naruto can defend himself." Kakashi nod his head, "We need to have faith in the two Kakashi. Now more than ever." Jiraya told him. Kakashi nod his head once again, "Thank you Jiraya." Kakashi smiled at him. Jiraya nod his head, "Of course Kakashi."
