Tova and Kurenai were relaxing in the hot springs just next door to the guys enjoying their time together. "So, Tova. You ready for your wedding?" Kurenai asked. Tova smiled nodding her head, "I sure am. I've been waiting to marry Kakashi for a while now, I can't wait. Mom and I got my dress and got everything organized." Tova told her with glee. Kurenai smiled at her friend, "Good, seems like everything is ready to go." She stated. Tova blushed smiling, "It is, I think he's really excited as well." Tova than got a glean in her eyes that Kurenai was ready for, "No time soon." Kurenai said with a smirk. Tova smile disappeared from her face, "Awe! How did you know what I was going to ask?" She asked.
Kurenai laugh, "Because, it's all over your face and everyone else. Asuma and I, we aren't ready to make that commitment just yet." Kurenai thoughtful looked at the night sky, "What not?" Tova asked with a raised eyebrow, Kurenai sigh, "Because, with this life. Things aren't always garenteed." Kurenai stated.
Tova sigh understanding what she means, "I know, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying life at the same time. Who knows, things may surprise you." Tova paused, "You remember what I told you, about bout the Akatsuki suppose plan right." Tova quietly said. Kurenai nod her head, "Yeah, I remember. You aren't afraid?" She asked. Tova shook her head, "Yes and no. All my life Shikaku has told me something like this may happen. At first, I was more worried about Orochimaru but now I feel the Akatsuki is a much bigger problem than Orochimaru could ever be." Tova explained.
Kurenai rub her head with a smile, "Only you Tova." She mumbled. "Huh?" Tova thought she heard Kurenai say something. "Nevermind." Kurenai laugh to herself. Tova smiled staring at the night sky, "I try not to have it stop me. I'm more cautious of course, I keep telling my family to not worry but of course I get out voted." Tova complained. Kurenai laugh at her friend, "Tova, we are your friends and family. You know we aren't just going to let them take you without a fight." Kurenai told her. Tova smiled back at her, "I know."
Kurenai stood up from he water, "Enough of the dramatics! Let's get drunk and have fun, this night is about you and it's time we have some fun." Kurenai grab a laughing Tova hand dragging her out the water, "Ok, ok. I'm down for some fun." Tova laugh.
The ladies sat in their eating area enjoying some drinks and food with light pink cheeks on their faces, "If Anko was here this would go out of hand." Kurenai mumbled while taking a sip of her drink. Tova giggles hearing Kurenai grammar, "Yeah, I don't think we would feel our hair on top of our heads." Tova laugh. "So Tova, what's its like being a dragon and to control ice?" Kurenai asked. Tova smiled, "It's alright I guess. I don't feel any special, of course my powers are pretty awesome if I do say so myself." Tova bragged with her nose in the air. Kurenai slap her shoulder making Tova laugh falling over, "Don't get cocky!" Kurenai shouted.
"How about when you have children? Will your kids have ice powers or even be a dragon themselves?" Kurenai asked. Tova shook her head while taking a bite of her sweet treat, "According to Xego, no. It may skip a generation or two because Kakashi isn't a dragon himself." Tova explained. Kurenai spouted, "That's a shame, seeing little Kakashi's or little Tova's would've been cute as little dragons." Tova nod her head agreeing, "It would, but they will have the genes so really we shall see. Maybe not in our lifetime but i'm sure in the future." Tova said with smile.
Kurenai and Tova drank threw the night each lady getting more drunk by the sip as the conversation carried onwards, "Sooo, do you and Asuma want children?" Tova asked with redder cheeks. Kurenai blush although no one can tell, "We've talked about it. We wouldn't mind having children." Kurenai bashfully said while playing with her cup, Tova smiled widely at her with her own blushing cheeks, "Awe! I can see it now. You're children will be so beautiful and handsome." Tova gushed while thinking about the two children. Kurenai laugh at her friend, "You think so?" She asked. Tova nod her head, "Oh yeah for sure. Imagine, all our children growing up like we did." Tova laid her head on her arms with a smile on her face, "I can't wait, to have kids. Grow old with Kakashi, seeing Shikamaru with his own family someday. Having Mom and Dad be with their grandchildren's. I can just see it." Tova smiled.
Kureani smiled back at her, "You make it sound wonderful, speaking of. Your brother have been spending a lot of time with that Sand Shinobi. How do you feel about that?" Kureani asked. Tova smile left her face and sat up straight, "I don't know, I mean. Tsunade thought it would be a good idea to pair them up for the upcoming Chunin Exam. I just, find it hard to forgive the Sand village for what they did." Tova confessed. "But, I can't help but to see he definitely have a crush on her and her on him. Even if they don't admit it to themselves." Tova sigh. Kurenai smiled, "It is very obvious, but I don't think we have to worry to much about them. They are our allies now." Kurenai tried to comfort.
Tova sigh, "I know, Gaara has been doing more than a good enough job as a Kazekage." Tova mumbled. Kurenai smirked at her friend, "Is it more of a protectiveness from the big older sister?" She nudged her shoulders with Tova. Tova laugh while taking a sip, "Maybe, father don't seem to care on way or another. Mother thinks it's good he found someone of course, I just need time." Tova confessed once again. Kurenai nod her head, "He could've picked worse." She laugh. Tova nod her head, "True, but still why that mean little weasel." Tova thought. Kureani slapped her friend on her head, "Ouch! Hey!" Tova whined. She can hear Xego laugh, "You deserved it." He told her. Tova glared at the wall next to her, "No bashing Shikamaru crush, how would you feel if he didn't like Kakashi?" Kurenai asked.
Tova laugh while rubbing her sore head, "I think I wouldn't care to much honestly." She said. Kurenai huffed proving her point, "Just give the girl a chance. Don't write her off just yet, clearly your brother isn't dumb so he see something in her that none of us can see." Kurenai explained. The two ladies stared at one another than laughed, "She remind me of, my/your mother." They both said while laughing. "Alright, we still have a bottle to get through. Think you can hold up?" Tova asked with a raised eyebrow, Kurenai held up her cup, "Let's go friend."
