The Unknown

It was late at night just days after the Chunin Exam Preliminary when Tova was once again having another one of her dreams. Only this time she couldn't ignore the call, Tova found herself back in the white abyss. She looked around not knowing what it was all about, she's gotten so familiar with the environment that it no longer scared her. Instead she waited, and listen to see what will happen. Tova turn her head hearing the call, she walked in the direction where the call was strong and the pull was stronger. As the storm got stronger Tova pushed forward, ignoring the hollowing and only focusing on the call before her, the call got louder and so much clearer than ever before. The water beneath her feet was cold, she soon came across what look like a glacier or a fortress. Tova eyes widen seeing the massive beautiful architect, it was like nothing she ever seen before, once she left the sea of freezing cold water the storm calmed.

Tova looked behind her, the only thing she saw was just endless sea. The water was so clear almost white, the air was crisp and tasteful. Tova felt at home, she felt like she belong here, what ever here was. The wind picked up as if pulling her towards the glacier, "Do I just enter?" She asked. Tova walked slowly keeping her guard up, she ran her hands along the snowy walls feeling the strength and also feeling the past. 

Once Tova entered the clearing nothing was around but just a big empty space. Getting a confuse look Tova looked around trying to see what called her, "Hello?" She called out. A low rumble was heard from around her, "So, you're finally ready." The voice said. Tova swallowed hard hearing the masculine voice, "Ready for what? Who are you?" She asked while spinning around slowly. "Who am I she ask? I'm what ever you want me to be, a friend. An enemy, maybe even a mentor. You need training young Tova, training that humans just can't give you." The voice chuckled once again. Tova bit her lip, "Was it you that's been calling?" She asked. "Yes, i've been waiting for along time for you Tova. You're life may be in great danger, multiple people will try and capture you. Without proper knowledge, you will be unprepared. Come to me if you wish, i'll be waiting for you Tova." He calmly said before forcing her to wake up.

Tova shoot out from her sleep breathing hard. She closed her eyes calming herself down, "I know what I have to do." She told herself. She's been thinking about it for so long, every since the voice started calling out to her. She was just afraid to take that leap, but with Orochimaru sneaking around she now felt like she didn't have a choice, with Kakashi training Sasuke and Shikamaru focusing on his own training for the final rounds now was the best time to take a leave. Tova got out the bed to get ready for her journey, something inside her knew where to go. Taking a look in the mirror Tova took a deep breath, "He wouldn't call you if he felt you weren't ready. You can do this, don't be afraid." She told her reflection. Tova packed her bags making sure everything was locked up before heading out.

She first stopped at her parents compound, it was the middle of the night but she knew she had to tell them that she will be gone for awhile. Tova took a deep breath before raising her hand to unlock the door only for it to open by itself. She jumped back in surprise, seeing Shikaku staring down at her looking not even the slightest bit tired, "So, you're finally taking your journey?" He asked in his usual carefree way. Tova eyes widen even farther, "How did you?" She begin to ask. Shikaku smiled down to her, "Tova, i've known for a long time this time was going to come. When you first told me about your dreams and the call you were hearing I knew someday you couldn't ignore it. It seems I picked a good day to not be tired." He sassed. Tova smiled at him with love, "Do you know what I have to do?" She asked. 

Shikaku only shrugged his shoulders, "I'm not sure Little Fawn, this is your journey. I'm sure what ever it is, it can help you." He reassured as he placed his hands on her shoulders. He pulled her close to him squeezing her tightly. Tova smiled hugging him just as tight, "You better be careful Little Fawn. I don't want to be killed by Yoshino and Shikamaru if something where to happen to you." He gently said to her. Tova chuckled at him, "I will father, I promise to save you from such a horrible death." She joked. Shikaku smiled puling away from her, "You can do this Tova. Just remember what I taught you and learn from what ever it is that's willing to help." Shikaku sternly said. Tova nod her head, "I will, give mother a hug and kiss for me. Same for Shikamaru when you see him." Tova said. Shikaku nod his head, Tova smiled at him while she walked backwards.
