"Are you ready?" Jack asked, walking into my room with a sweet smile on his face.

I exhaled loudly while looking around to make sure I didn't forget anything before nodding, "Yeah I think so."

Today was the day Jack and I left for LA. As excited as I was, overthinking is making me feel like shit. I can't help but feel like something big is gonna happen.

Jack wrapped his arms around my waist, looking down at me, "Are you excited?"

"Uh yeah," I said apprehensively.

Jack furrowed his eyebrows, "You don't sound like it."

I shrugged, "I'm just a little worried that's all, it's nothing I promise. Im probably just overthinking."

He kissed the top of my head and smiled, "You have nothing to worry about. It's gonna be a great time, you'll meet all my friends and we'll hang out during my free time."

"Jack I'm only staying for a week." I reminded him

He shrugged, "We'll make the best of it, I promise." He kissed my forehead,
"Now let's go, LA awaits us."

We walked down the stairs and towards the living room where Alexis and Chase sat on the couch, watching a movie.

"So we're leaving now," I announced.

They whipped their head towards us and hopped up, running towards me and engulfing me in a group hug, almost knocking me off my feet.

"Have fun"

"Take tons of pictures!"

"Get me something!"

They all shouted at the same time, eliciting a giggle from my lips. I hugged them back tightly and quickly before pulling away.

"Don't fuck up my house, I'm begging you. No parties, no other people, and if you do bring people because you both like to not listen to me, lock all the doors upstairs."

They nodded, "Yes mom." They joked in unison.

I rolled my eyes and kissed both their cheeks, "I love you guys and I'll see you in a week, alright?"

They nodded and gave me one last hug before turning to jack, "Take care of our girl, keep her safe." Chase said sternly, trying to be intimating.

Jack nodded and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, "Don't worry, I got her."

I smiled and intertwined our hands together as he placed a kiss on my temple.

"You guys are so cute, alright well you better get going so you don't miss the flight." Alexis sighed, pouting slightly.

"I'll call you guys when I get to LA." I reassured her.

They both nodded once again and hugged me again. Jack wrapped his arm around my waist and escorted us out the house and to his car.

"LA here we come." I mumbled.

"Flight D872 to Los Angeles, California is now boarding,"

The lady on the intercom said in an monotone voice, it was so monotone I didn't know if it was a recording or a actual person.

"That's us," Jack smiled, grabbing my hand and pulling me up.

I had never flown before and the sudden realization hit me that I'd be hundreds of feet in the air and it scared me shitless. My stomach was twisted and my hands were sweating and slightly shaking.

"Babe, you alright?" Jack asked as we waited in line to give the ticket agent our tickets and board the plane.

"Uh huh," I lied, my voice shaky.

Jack gripped my waist and turned me around so I was facing him, "Have you ever been on a plane before?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows slightly.

I shook my head no, biting my lip as I wiggled my legs, completely anxious.

"Babe," Jack sighed, "why didn't you tell me?"

I shrugged, "I didn't think much of it until we got here and now my heart is racing and I feel like I'm gonna either pass out, throw up or both." I quavered

Jack rubbed my upper arm, "Don't worry babe, I'll be right there with you."

We finally got to the front of line and gave the lady our tickets, "Alright, you're in 32C," She said to me then turned to Jack, "and you're in 36C,"

"What!" I exclaimed, my heart racing even more.

"That can't be right, I ordered the tickets so we'd be next to each other." Jack shook his head.

"I'm sorry sir, that's the assigned seats with these tickets." She apologized.

I ran my hand through my hair and started pacing, "Oh god,"

Jack sighed loudly and grabbed my arm to stop me from pacing and placed his lips on mine. Once our lips collided, my body felt so light. My knees almost gave in but Jacks grip on my waist kept me up.

He pulled away a few seconds later, "It'll be alright, I promise after the flight I'll be right there."

I lowered my eyebrows, "But I wanted you next to me, now I have to sit next to a stranger who's probably a fat old man who likes to lay on people and snore."

Jack chuckled, shaking his head. "This isn't funny Jack," I whined.

He tried controlling his smile but failed, making me smile softly, "I'm sorry Sky, but don't worry. If that happens let someone know and we'll try to get your seat changed."

I sighed and nodded, "Fine, I guess I have no choice."

Jack kissed my forehead before grabbing my hand and walking inside the airplane. He escorted me to my seat, making sure I was comfortable.

"If you need me I'll only be a couple seats back," Jack reassured me, pecking my lips softly.

I nodded and watched him walk back to his seat. The worst part about this is that I had a window seat. So, not only do I have to ride this whole flight out by myself, I have to sit next to a window which for some reason didn't have a blind.

I buckled up and leaned back in the seat, closing my eyes tightly while taking a few deep breaths. I tried to take my mind off the fact that I'd be hundreds of feet in the air, but it didn't work.

Seconds later, I felt a presence beside me. I peeked open my right eye to see a pretty attractive, fit, tanned guy sit next to me. At least he wasn't a creepy old man.

"Uh hi," He smiled, looking over at me.

I opened both my eyes and smiled softly, sitting up straight, "Hello,"

"Looks like you're my partner for the next three hours," he smiled sweetly, buckling his seatbelt.

I nodded, rubbing my sweaty hands on my leggings, "Looks like it."

He held out his hand, "Well I'm Cody, it's nice to meet you."

"I'm Skylar, nice to meet you too." I shook his hand.

"I don't know if this is inappropriate or not but you're very beautiful."

I couldn't stop myself from blushing lightly, "Oh, thank you." I looked down smiling.

"Anytime, Skylar." He said sweetly.

"Ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking, we'd like to welcome you onboard to united airways to Los Angeles, California. Flight duration is around three hours and we are expecting a fairly smooth flight today. Once again, we'd like to thank you for choosing to fly with us today and we hope you enjoy your flight."

This should be an interesting flight...
