Poe and I leave the room my mother is being held in. We're on a hunt, we're looking for Finn. I catch sight of him. He's in Rey's corner and it looks like he's talking to D-O.
Then, the former trooper stands up and looks around. I pull on Poe's sleeve and he glances at me.
"Look. He's there." I say, pointing to the figure of Finn. He must've spotted us because he's making a beeline for Poe and I.
"I gotta talk to you two about something." He says, pointing at Poe.
"I gotta talk to you about something." Poe says, also pointing at Finn. "I can't do this alone. I need you in command with me."
"This droid has-" Finn pauses and glances between Poe and I. "What about Wren?"
I shake my head. "I got the position I always wanted. You may now refer to me as Commander Solo of the Black Squadron." I say with smile.
Finn's eyes widen. "Wren-that's...that's great!" He says. Then he turns back to Poe. "Thank you. I appreciate that."
"General." Poe nods at Finn.
"General." Finn nods back.
I giggle at their interaction. I knew the boys had a close friendship and this just proved it.
"This droid has a ton of information about Exegol." Finn says, pointing to D-O.
"Wait, what? Cone-face?" Poe asks.
D-O rolls backwards in shock. "I am D-O!"
"Sorry. D-O." Poe glances down at the green droid and then back to Finn.
"He was going to Exegol with Ochi of Bestoon." Finn explains.
"Why was Ochi going there?" I ask.
"To bring the little girl he was supposed to take from Jakku to the Emperor." Finn glances at me. I take a step back. My eyes glaze over for a second.
"The Emperor wanted her alive." I say. "Rey...she has to be connected to the Emperor somehow."
Poe lets out a huff of recognition. "So we crack open this droids head and find out how to get to Exegol?"
Finn nods. "Hopefully."
"I know who can help. Go get Rose and Lula." I order. Both boys nod and turn around, rushing to find our friends.
D-O knocks against my foot softly. I smile down at the small droid. "Come on. Let's go get you hooked up." I say.
I lead him over to a computer and grab a connected cable. One goes in the back of his head and the other into the computer.
I tap a couple buttons and D-O's memory bank shows up. I click through a few things and hear someone gasp behind me. I turn quickly and see Poe, Finn, Rose, and Lula. Poe is fidgeting with his bandage.
