Ochi's ship glides into a small town of Kijimi. Everyone gathers their things, seeing as we don't know if we'll be back here or not. Nobody questions D-O at my feet.
As Poe had said, it's freezing in Kijimi. Snow drifts down and sticks to the hood of my cloak and my hair.
Poe left almost ten minutes ago to scope out the area. I wanted to go with him, but he wouldn't let me. All he gave me was a short kiss and then he was gone.
I shiver and turn to Rey. "I'm going after him."
The Jedi holds out her hand. "No. He'll be back."
I squeeze my eyes shut just as someone rounds the corner. I hold up my blaster but lower it as soon as I see Poe.
"Poe." I whisper. I throw my arms around him and hug him tightly. After a second, I pull away.
"They're everywhere." Poe says, glancing around the corner. I know he's talking about the stormtroopers. And he's right. They are everywhere.
In the distance a women screams. "Please!" She yells. Her voice nearly breaks my ears. "Leave her alone! She didn't do anything!"
I cringe slightly and wrap myself up tighter in Ahsoka's cloak.
"All right. I know what we should do." Poe starts. He's cut off my C3PO.
"So do I. We should leave." The droid says nervously.
"Clam it 3PO!" I hiss.
"Follow me." Poe says. He walks off and everyone trails after him. We round corners, avoiding the light and avoiding the troopers.
"Poe." I whisper. "I'm scared."
My boyfriend reaches back and squeezes my hand. "I am too. We just have to stay strong."
We reach a dark alley and Poe lets out a huff of breath. "All right. Let's head down this way." He starts.
There's a click of a gun and he pauses. Poe closes his eyes and I draw my blaster beneath my cloak.
"Heard you were spotted at Monk's Gate." An oddly feminine voice says. Rey and Finn appear beside us. "Thought "he's not stupid enough to come back here.""
"Oh you'd be surprised." Poe says, holding out his hands.
"Who's this?" Rey asks.
"What's going on?" Finn asks. He's going into overprotective mode.
"Guys this uh...Zorii. Zorii, this is Rey, Finn, and Wren." Poe says.
"I could pull this trigger right now."
I pull up my blaster. "Do it bitch." I say.
Poe glances at me fearfully. Zorii's gun doesn't waver. Poe reaches over and pushes my blaster down. "I've seen you do worse." He says to Zorii again.
