Such a simple story, yet somehow touches upon the finer topics of life - love, faith, politics, and above all, what is the point of existing? Told from the eyes of Reverend Hubert Jennings, this elegant, refined tale is surely to tug on the heartstrings of the reader.
PROS:
-Extensive research done on topic.
-Polished piece of literary craft.
-Perceptive use of word choice.
CONS:
-Chapter titles can be more interesting.
-Possibly an explanation of the chronological orders of all Hampshire Stories, as the are many of these books?
