CHAPTER 12

THIRD PERSON.

- K.E.U 10th Foundation Day -

Isang maaliwalas na araw para sa isang mahalagang okasyon para sa lahat ng mag-aaral at guro ng Kim's Empire University. The whole campus was dressed up so elegantly. Tila nasa isang kaharian. No doubt Kim's Clan is one of the Most Richest in Asia.
There's different booths everywhere where you can participate. Everyone is so busy. The place is so loud with cheers, laughs and beats.

It is eight in the morning already ng makarating si Lisa sa school. She was accompanied by her mom and dad. Agad din naman silang dumirecho sa auditorium dahil dito gaganapin ang programme. Hinatid nya ang kanyang parents hanggang sa makaupo sa first row bago sya tuluyang magpunta sa dressing room.
She's internalizing her speech na sasabihin. Sya kasi ang student's representative.

Maya- maya pa ay dumating na rin ang Kim's Family. Ang may-ari ng campus na ito. Pagka park palang ng kanilang limousine ay agad din silang sinalubong ng mga guards at binati.
"Goodmorning Mr. and Mrs. Kim." sabay yuko.
Bumaba na silang pamilya sa kotse kasama ang ilang guards at secretary. Sinalubong sila ng masigabong palakpakan bago tuluyang ihatid sa auditorium at paupuin sa hinandang VIP table together with the Dean and Professors.

Sinamahan naman ni Jisoo si Jennie sa dressing room. Naabutan nila doon si lisa na nagppractice ng kanyang speech.
"Oh hi there jen and jisoo unnie, goodmorning." bati ni lisa. Tumugon din naman ang dalawa sa kanya at naupo.
"San pala sila? Anong oras na ah?!" tanong ni jennie.

"We're here!" sabay sabay na tugon nila IU, Somi, Nayeon, Rosé, Irene at Somi. Nagkita kita kasi sila sa labas magkakasama na silang nagpunta don.

-Lisa's phone ringing-

"Hello Lis? Uhm sorry hindi ako makakasama sa performance bgla kasi akong nilagnat ngayon and were here at the clinic. Im really sorry lis." wika ng nasa kabilang linya. Hindi na nkasagot si lisa dahil agad din namang binaba ang phone.

"Ohh damn it guys, we have a problem! Kulang tayo ng isang member dahil maysakit daw. Pano na to?!" pag-aalala ni lisa habang palakad lakad at di mapakali.
Halata rin ang pagkabalisa ng lahat. 30mins nalang kasi at start na ang programme.

"Ohhh wait! May naisip nako!" malakas na sambit ni lisa.
"Ikaw jisoo unnie!! Tama ikaw. Ikaw nalang ang pumalit tutal alam mo naman ang steps at song eh. Ikaw na ang pumalit. Wag ka ng tumanggi! Promise 1week kitang susupplayan ng chikin.!" Sunod- sunod na sabi ni lisa. Napatango nalang si jisoo, di sya makatanggi dahil chikin ang premyo nya hahaha.

- Programme starts -

Hosts: Goodmorning everyone. A pleasant day to all of us. Today we are celebrating the most important day of our school. But before anything else we would like to ask Mr. and Mrs. Kim to give their introductory speech. Please give them a round of applause.

-Ff ⏩-

Now let's call Ms. Lalisa Manoban our Student's representative to give her inspirational speech.
(Applause)

" Good day my fellow students, our kind and hardworking deans and professors and also to our very generous and supportive CEO Mr. and Mrs. Kim. Today marks the 10th Year Foundation Day of our beloved school. I'm here representing each students. Everyday is like a journey to us. No one can say if it's easy or not. But no matter how unpredictable life is we shouldn't give up. We can't finish something if we won't start. Every hardwork, every sweat, every tears i know someday it will be paid off. Don't give up okay? Don't just give up into your dreams. Always look straightly at your goals. Let's all together fly and..... "DREAM HIGH"

(Lights turned off for a minute and then turned on again and suddenly the music starts)

Rosé and IU:

*I dream high, I'm dreaming so high
When it gets tough I 'm closing my eyes
Thinking all the mem'ries now I can see
This ain't no fantasy, its reality*

Nayeon and Irene:

*I'm on the edge of fear today, feeling I can't go on
I'm like a bird that's doubting of leaping up coz I'm afraid to fall
Can I make it through it I, keep asking this on my mind.
For each step I take, my fear keeps on coming back, how would I deal with these all*

Altogether:

When it get's tough I 'm closing my eyes

I can soar high like clouds in the sky

Somi and Jisoo:

*I need the strength to pull me up and get me back on my feet
Courage I need to shake off all my fears and jump back to the beat
Need to have faith in destiny and heat it up one more time
I'm risking it all, I'm giving it all I've got just, to jump above this wall*

Jennie and Lisa:

(rap)
*Dream high a chance to fly high
Gonna let go off the pain and say bye bye
Gotta try, gonna fly so high reachin' out all of the stars in the sky
Watch your dreams come to life time for you to shine

Lahat ay nagsitayuan at nagpalakpakan. Lahat ay naimpress sa performance. May mga napatili at napahagis pa ng mga panyo. Lahat ay satisfied pati na rin ang magasawang Mr. and Mrs. Kim na nakangiting pumapalakpak. Maging ang magasawang Mr. and Mrs. Manoban ay nagchicheer para sa kanila.

Pasado ala sais ng hapon ng natapos ang programme. Nasa dressing room ang lahat para batiin ang isa't- isa sa success nilang performance. Ngunit wala doon si Lisa.

" Irene, where's Lisa? Tawagin mona kaya sya para sabay sabay na tayong lumabas. Our parents are waiting outside." pagmamando ni jennie.

Sinamahan ni Jisoo si irene sa paghahanap kay Lisa. Wala sya sa cr, wala din sa props room. Nagawi sila sa backstage at doon nakita nila si Lisa na nakahiga sa sahig at walang malay. Taranta silang napatakbo sa kinaroroonan nya.

"Lisaaaaaa! Lisaaaaa!!" pero hindi ito magising. Tinawag nila ang iba. Ng nakita ni jennie ang kalagayan ni lisa bglang syang napatigil at parang nawala sa sarili. Alalang- alala sya. Lumapit sya dito at niyakap ito.

"Everyone.. call the ambulance now!! Ngayon naaaaa!! Wake up please lili" sumamo nya dito.

Tumungo na rin doon ang parents ni lisa na too worried sa kanya.

The ambulance then came at dali daling isinakay dito si lisa.

Sila jennie ay naiwang naluluha sa pagka bigla.
Ang masaya sanang araw ay daglian ding napalitan ng lungkot.
