In a small town of Dimsdale Hills, a local legend tells of a monster's oath to return every seven years to abduct teens and murder them. Many stories are circulating around the sleepy town and its surrounding woods, causing the people to be afraid of the seventh-year cycle.
Now 14 years later since the last attack, young people of Dimsdale are disappearing again - and one of those kids is a girl named Faith Fule. She's a good student in Dimsdale High and seems to have a perfect simple life in town - an honor student, has a perfect family, and a lot of friends.
Meanwhile, Cisco Benitez is an eccentric boy who was supposed to die on the night the Dimsdale Monster's wrecked attack on that terrifying event. He has been plagued by nightmares of murders while not aware if they hold true or if he is simply imagining the images that haunt him.
And now that Faith is missing, and others are also disappearing in thin air, Cisco believes that the monster has returned. But if he hopes to save his friends, he must also face the demons in his head that won't rest until it finishes the job it began within him. Who is the killer? Who is the Dimsdale Monster? What happened to Faith? Where did she go?
