Tatara: So who the hell did?!

He stands up from the hardened mud.

Haruto: Calm down Tatara! Let's all just discuss this and see our suspects!

The group moves to the living room.

Kae: Can I just say something? Since the paper on our heads is a cloaking device. What if the killer disguised as one of us and stayed in the area of the killer. That would mean anyone could be the killer.

Odataki: Well from the conclusion I've drawn is that the demon has trapped us here with these papers and a barrier. The killer has some sort of base here with quick access to different areas of the house with weaponry. In conclusion, these very walls and floors may have our killer's hideout.

Jigoku: If these papers are disguising us, then why don't we just take them off!

Takeshi: Wait jigoku!

Yuri: Don't do it!

Odataki: Don't rush to a conclusion!

Jigoku rips the paper off of his head.

Jigoku: There! It's gone! Now you guys are ne-

Jigoku gets pulled into the air and is hanging by his foot, a ball of flesh floats next to him and spits fire out until it shrinks and dies. Jigoku catches on fire and is dropped into a hole that appears in the floor, then disappears.

Takeshi: Jigoku!

Yuri starts to cry and he hits the floor on where his body fell through.

Odataki: We need to find that lair right away!

Sumire runs to Haruto and Odataki. Her eyes change to the demon eyes and they turn purple for a second. She looks around and punches a wall causing it to smash open. Her eyes return to normal shape and their blue color.

Haruto: Well this calls for one investigation.

Tatara: Me and Sumire will stay here and watch everyone, You should go into the demon's lair Haruto.

Haruto: Okay, I'll be back with answers.

Haruto walks into the passage as someone follows. Haruto turns around and sees Odataki.

Odataki: Here it isn't safe to go alone. You never know where a trap could be. Besides, it lowers suspicion on us. 

Haruto: Thanks Odataki! I really appreciate it!

The two walk down the hallway and they see a cross road.

Odataki: So which way do you think is right?

Haruto: Give me a second.

Haruto closes his eyes and we hear bells ringing from below. This ripple effect appears in Haruto's mind coming from below.

Haruto: It has to be below us.

Odataki: I can smell something serious down there. Demons? Plenty of them.

Haruto: Well how do we get down there?

Odataki: Well let's look around this room.

The two of them look around the room looking for some sort of sign that there's a key.

Odataki: Maybe one of these?

Odataki points to the walls and points out masks that are all over the wall.

Haruto: But which one should it be?

Odataki: I think...It's in order! Brown mask, red mask, blue mask, yellow mask, and a white mask. Those all represent breath styles. We just need to find out who came in which order!

Haruto: Do you know the order?

Odataki: Yes, I know the general order. Koi came first, then it'd be me, then mo came, after that was paku, Noko was last to appear.

Haruto: So it's stone, water, wind, thunder, then flame.

Odataki: Making the order brown, blue, white, yellow, then red!

Haruto: Yeah! Let's do this!

The two cut the masks in the exact order. They repair themselves and the floor below them opens up.

Odataki: Why didn't I expect more holes!

Haruto: I'm not surprised anymore!

Wind appears and it softens their landing.

Haruto: Thanks for helping Odataki. I really appreciate it!

Odataki: Of course Haruto!

Meanwhile,

Tatara and Sumire are just watching the group making sure no one goes on a murder spree.

Tatara: Can they hurry up...This is so boring...

Sumire shakes her head.

Takeshi: Everyone! Does anyone here know of an item called the atlas?! We need to know!

Tatara: What the hell are you doing?!

Takeshi sees no one raises a hand.

Takeshi: Well I know about it! It's better if someone else does so I'll tell you all what it i-

Takeshi gets thrown to the ceiling where he hangs. A flesh ball appears and covers him in a water bubble. Sending him down to the basement.

Tatara: Takeshi!

Yuri starts to burst out crying as his two friends have been killed before his eyes.

Meanwhile,

We see Takeshi's body land in the basement still in the bubble. It breaks but he's trapped. A demon appears.

demon: What do you know about the atlas?!

Takeshi: Not much! Just that it's possibly at-

We hear Haruto and Odataki hearing this and walking to the room. Stopping us from hearing the name.

Takeshi: mountain! It's some sort of ancient demon thing or something! I don't know too much!

Demon: Then I don't need you.

The water forms around him again and the pressure starts to crush him.

Haruto: Found you bastard!

Haruto cuts the demon's face.

Odataki: Water breathing, fourth form: Striking tide.

He runs and cuts the demon's head off. They look and see it was just a flesh clone.

Haruto: Dammit!

Odataki: What the hell is this?

They look and see that the walls are made of glass. It's an aquarium for demons? There's demons behind the glass just trapped in a giant pool of water. They see a huge tube with a giant demon trapped inside. It seems to be sleeping in the water.

Haruto: Man...What the hell?!

Odataki: This is crazy...

Haruto: Let's go back up. We didn't find much other than this.

Odataki: Agreed.

The two boys walk down the hall and see one more door. They walk through and climb up some stairs. They find a wall that is different. Haruto punches it and enters a library.

Haruto: There he is! There's the demon!

The door bursts open as Kae and Paku walk into the room. The demon shoots lightning down causing everyone to be blasted back. He goes behind Paku and puts the axe handle in front of his neck and snaps his neck. The demon runs off after.

Haruto: Hurry! We have to get to him!

The mystery is coming to a close! Who will it be?!

This chapter was originally going to be the end of the arc, but I decided to continue it one more chapter.
