Tanemaki and Shido
Two boys are working on a farm. There's a small house near the farm which seems damaged.
Tanemaki: Shido? Are you ready to come inside?
There's no response from Shido.
Tanemaki: Shido?
Tanemaki looks around for his little cousin.
Tanemaki: Where could he be?
Shido: Right here! Look at this!
Shido comes out of a small hole holding a rock.
Tanemaki: It's a rock?
Shido: It's what's on the rock. Look!
Tanemaki: Some liquid? Is it moving?
Shido: I think so!
Tanemaki: I'll have to look at it more. Thanks for showing me.
Shido: Yeah! I'm ready for dinner now.
Tanemaki: Well I still have to cook it.
Shido: Ehh.
The two boys walk into a damaged house as they eat their dinner.
Shido: Ahh. This makes working all day worth it.
Tanemaki: Yeah, it does
Shido: Well I'm off to bed!
Shido washes his bowl and puts it up as he jumps into his room.
Tanemaki: Goodnight. Love you.
Shido: You too.
Tanemaki (present): Little did I know, Shido would sneak out at night, he carved his own sword at night out of wood and would copy my training I did at night.
Tanemaki is training as Shido watches from the bushes and copies his movements.
Tanemaki: This rock. What could this be?
Demon: Kekeke.
Tanemaki: A demon?!
Demon: You'll be mine!
Tanemaki slashes the demon as Shido jumps down and throws the rock at the demon's chest.
Tanemaki: Shido?! Get inside! Now!
Shido: No! I'll fight with you!
Tanemaki: Inside right now!
Tanemaki slashes at the demon as Shido hits the demon with the wooden sword.
Shido: Watch out!
The demon charges to Tanemaki but suddenly stops. The two boys look at the demon in confusion.
Demon: What did you do?!
The demon's chest is tearing apart and getting destroyed.
Tanemaki: Could it have been from that rock?
Tanemaki cuts the demon's head off and sees the lime green liquid from the rock.
Shido: Was it hurting the demon?
Tanemaki: Yeah. It was eating it.
Shido: Odd.
Tanemaki (present): After a while we studied it more. On metals like nichirin it would enter a comatose like state but blood, demon blood specifically would cause them to rudely awaken and devour the demon. We later started producing them and created seed breathing.
