Levi sat alone in the canteen, mostly surrounded by girls, and a few boys, but not many people had shown up anyway. Elle, flanked by the rest of the girls, greeted everyone as they joined the small group. The scowl on Levi's face has been permanent ever since he walked into the dining hall. So far his asshole friends had not turned up. And he was beginning to think they never would. He pulled out his phone and typed a message to the group chat.*message to 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀*

What lying pieces of shit. Levi stuffed his phone back into his blazer pocket, his frowning deepening if possible.
"You know, your face will stick like that if the wind blows."
Levi whipped his head to the left, watching Matty sit down next to him. He didn't let the other boy see the relief he felt at having an ally here, but his scowl eased up slightly.
"You took your time," he mumbled, still glaring at his friend.
"Sorry. I got lost," he said distracted, looking at Elle, who caught him and glared. Levi shook his head, this whole situation beginning to do his head in.
"So I think that's everyone! Hi, if you don't know me I'm Elle, this is..." she trailed off, motioning to Brooklyn, who did not finish her sentence. Levi thought she was probably just as happy to be here as himself.
Elles smile dropped as she began to crack a bit, "Brooklyn, this is, is, Brooklyn, Ameerah, Chloe and Ruby. We've putting the mentor scheme together to try and encourage different years to get to know each other, and it's always a good thing to put onto your UCAS form off course! I wanted you here today so I could gage how many people want to get involved, so Chloe will pass a piece of paper around if you could all put your name and form down and I-"
Elle was cut off by the door opening. Levi turned to see who had interrupted her and he though his heart had stopped for a monture or two. He struggled to breathe. Shit. Was is legal for someone to be so handsome, so beautiful? Levi doubted it. In walk the boy, his black hair sort of tamed, brushed back and to the side. His eyes were electric blue, Levi didn't think he'd seen a more beautiful shade of blue before. He was carrying his blazer, his white shirt fitting him tightly. Oh god. Oh god. He was fucked. Well and truly fucked.
"No worries, come in! Take a seat, we've only just started!" Elle beamed, snapping Levi out of his trance. He quickly turned his head away from the boy who just walked in.
He took shallow breathes, trying to slow down his racing heart. Once slightly calmer, he decided he needed another look. He needed to see those eyes again. He subtly looked around the room, trying to spot him. Those eyes were already looking at him, Levi met the guy's intense stare, which almost took his breath away once again. He held his gaze, for what felt like a life time before the boy looked away. Levi felt his heart sink as he too turned back to face Elle.
"-one have any questions?"
Matty's hand shot up next to him, displaying just how desperate he was. The girls at the front rolled theirs eyes, as Elle covered her distain with a fake smile.
"Yes Matthew?" She asked formally.
"Are you single?" He asked in al seriousness. Others in the room laughed a little as Elle began to blush.
"Not relevant arsehole. Any others?"
Matty's hand shot up once more but this time he didn't wait for Elle to address him this time, "Are you straight?"
Levi couldn't listen to this shit anymore. He grabbed his stuff and slipped out the back of the room, needing to get away.
