Levi entered the common room at the start of break, a coffee in hand. Despite talking to Jaxon yesterday he still didn't get any sleep. He hadn't see Grayson at all today so far, and he was grateful not to have done. he friends were sat on their usual couch, Jaxon and Thomas' watching a video on Jaxon's phone, not paying attention to Matty who was ranting about something probably very stupid.

"I don't get why the canteen has stopped selling the orange juice with bits. why does everyone have a vendetta against bitty oj?!"

"Bruv looking at that finish! I'm telling you I would rather have Vardy over Sterling any day!" Thomas announced, shaking his head as he points to the screen.

"You're mad. He's ancient! Sterling's got at least another 6 or 7 years in him. I'd be surprised if Vardy played next season." Jaxon argued making the both laugh obnoxiously. Levi shook his head and sat down next to Matty. His friends stop their conversation as Levi put his backpack on the floor between his legs, and gave them an award half smile.

"Hi." Levi greeted before taking a sip of his coffee.

"'Sup bro." Jaxon greeted first nodding toward his best friend.

"Lee, my man, you should've stayed out of Friday-" Matty started.

"Not now Matt." Thomas instructed. He looked over to Levi and gave him nodded at him before quickly looking away.

"No, it's okay. I- er, I actually wanted to, to say sorry for acting so weird lately. And I'm not going to give you excuses, I'm gonna give you a reason." Levi said truthfully, looking to Jaxon for assurance who provided it with a smile.

"I, uh, I've been seeing someone, not Charlotte, but they've been messing me about and fucking with my feelings and had my head west to be honest. And I'm sorry that I've taken it out of youse rather than them."

Matty and Thomas shared a look before giving Levi and small smile, nodding. "It's okay. Who is it though?"

"Grayson." Levi admitted after a moment. The two were stunned for a good minute or two, making Levi feel sick. Oh god.

"Well are you two idiots going to say something?" Jaxon asked, one eyebrow lifted. They stayed silent for a moment long before sharing a look once more.

"Want us to fuck him up for you?" Thomas grinned, causing Levi to let out a little sigh of relief. He shook his head, smiling as well.

"Yeah, my nan has been paying for me to have boxing lesson. I've only gone to one but I could definitely knock him out with my right hook." Matty grinned before pretending to box, punching the air and breathing heavily.

"No, no, it's fine, thanks AJ. I don't know what I'm going to do about it yet." Levi admitted, reluctant to talk about it with his friends.

"Hang on, hang on. So the rumours are true then? You're gay Levi?" Matty asked, confusion written all over his face.

Levi blushes lightly, suddenly feeling awkward. "Well, maybe. Just like a bit. Sort of."

Jaxon scoffed quietly, causing Levi to whip round and shoot daggers at him.

"Yeah, I'm gay. Where did you hear that anyway?" Levi said quietly unable to meet their gaze.

"Some year 11s were sat on the seats in front of me on the bus home the other day and talking about it. I meant to ask you about but I forgot. Anyway, last night I messaged Elle and she said that she wants me to go to her's tonight." Matty said excitedly. Levi's mood was brought down by that statement. Charlotte must have told everyone. Great. That's exactly what he needed.

"What? Your fucking in there man!" Jaxon laughed, giving Matty a handshake.

"I can't fucking believe it." Levi mumbled in reference to both his and Matty's situation, but his friends didn't catch on.

"I mean, she did say it was to plan and come up with ideas for the mentor scheme. But once I get there, bring some drinks, put some music on, the last thing we'll be doing is talking about the mentor stuff." He smirked. The others led out a simultaneous groan, Thomas shaking his head as Matty looked confused once more.

"You can be so fucking stupid sometimes Bruv, I swear."
