Levi's head pounded. His stomach churning as he rolled over in his bed, causing him to groan. He lay there for a minute or two before sitting up slowly and searching for his phone, hoping to find confirmation that last night wasn't as bad as he vaguely remembered.

He was surprised to find it on charge as he didn't think he was functioning enough to do so. His home screen displayed a range of notifications which didn't help.

The last notification caught Levi's attention. It felt like his heart was in his throat. He opened it up hesitantly, sadness and anger already swelling in his chest. Grayson had sent him a picture of a drawing he had done of himself, sat in what looked like his converted shed. Underneath the drawing he had wrote; Grayson alone in Universe #1 wishing he had someone to make him laugh.

The next drawing he sent was one of Grayson with arm around Levi's shoulders who lent into him with the record player surrounded by music notes, and a LANY vinyl cover leaning against the table it was on. The caption he wrote was; Grayson and Levi in Universe #482 making each other laugh.

Levi sighed as a lump grew in his throat. He debated on replying, but decided to leave him on read. Grayson didn't deserve a reply right now. He locked his phone and closed his eyes hoping to get a few more hours sleep, but was interrupted by a knock on his door. He let out a loud whine type noise, indicating he was awake, but a sound he hoped would put off whoever was on the other side of that door. Unfortunately, Brooklyn came in a bottle of water and a packet of paracetamol in hand. She gave him a small smile and sat next to him on the other side of his bed, stretching her legs out.

"Thanks." Levi mumbled taking the water and paracetamol.

"How you feeling?"

"Fine. I'm sorry I called you, I just had way too much to drink." Levi sighed, trying to avoid the topic.

"Levi you're clearly not fine," Brooklyn whispered, her voice cracking at the end. He turned and looked at her, shocked to she tears in her eyes.

"I'm worried about you Levi. I can't watch you self destruct. Just like my mum did and then just like Liam did." Brooklyn pleaded.

"I'm not self destruct-"

"Levi, you are up nearly all night, every night, you don't tell us anything, you're fighting with your friends, you've been snappy, you're drinking yourself into oblivion near enough every weekend. Just talk to me." She said desperately, grabbing his hand and squeezing it.

"Please." Brooklyn whispered desperately.

He took another sip of water, trying to hydrate his suddenly dry throat. He let out a breath and looked at her before looking away again. Maybe now was the right time. Brooklyn would be okay with it right? "I-I'm gay. I think. Maybe."

Brooklyn stayed silent, scanning his face, searching for something but Levi didn't know what. She sighed before getting under his covers. She lifted his arm and wrapped it around her shoulder, resting her head on his shoulder. Levi let out the breath he was holding and dropping his head on top of her lightly. "Okay. That's okay Levi."

"Thank you." Levi whispered, hugging her back. He swallowed harshly, trying to hold back the tears as emotion overwhelmed his. God, since when had he become such a fucking crier?! They stayed in silence for the rest of the afternoon. Just laying there, finding comfort in each others company.
