The lift was broken. And Levi was not happy. His apartment was on the seventh floor, and the lift had a flimsy paper sign on it that said 'lift broken soz, getting it fixed tomorrow morning'.The sign only confirmed how much on an arsehole his landlord was. It took him longer than it should have to get up the stairs, but once he did, he practically collapsing against the door. He dug around for his key and went to unlock the door before a price of white paper sticking out of the letterbox caught his eye. He grabbed it, pulling it out slowly. It was folded into four, and on one side his name was written in handwriting that he recognised.
Levi shoved the note into his pocket and opened the door. He kicked off his shoes and shrugged off his blazer and coat, hanging them on the hooks lining the wall by the door. He took the note and his phone from his coat and padded to his room anxious to see what had been drawn for him this time. Levi took his headphones out and threw his phone and the note on his bed. He got changed into grey shorts and a black Adidas shirt and flopped down onto his bed, grabbing the note.
Once unfolded, a drawing of a phone was displayed on the white paper. In the white bubble, the text that Levi sent to Grayson was written, no reply given, with the caption 'what Grayson said in universe #1'. The drawing beside it displayed Levi's text, thanking him for the drawing with the reply in the blue bubble, 'you're welcome. I put it in your pocket in the lunch line. I'm sorry too. I miss you.' The caption said 'what Grayson said in universe #9270'.
Levi didn't know what to do. His emotions were all of the place, so he decided to do what he always did when he felt this way. Get drunk and go to a party.
