Levi walked into Biology, debating on turning back around and walking out. Once Ameerah caught his gaze and gave him an awkward smile. He sighed and walked to his seat slumping down in it.

"When can I have my weed back?" He asked. He could use a smoke right now to be honest.

"Hello to you too." Ameerah said, glaring at him

"How can you keep the weed in you'd house. You know, with you being Muslim." Levi questioned before even thinking about it.

"What?"

"Well, you're not allowed it are you. No offence, but I don't think I could be religious. All the restrictions, the intolerances. It's too much."

"What intolerances Levi?" Ameerah asked, the anger displayed clearly on her face.

Levi hesitated. He didn't want his suspicions confirmed but he was to curious. Maybe he just needed,m assurance. "I don't know... gay people?"

"Right. Okay. What do you believe in?" Ameerah asked, catching him off guard.

"Biology, science. Darwinism and all that." Levi shrugged. Ameerah nodded and turned to face him properly.

"And what does Darwin say about homosexuality? His theory suggests that homosexuals should've died out millions of years ago. I mean, they can't procreate so what to they do for our race? Why do they still exist today? Because according to evolution, it's not genetic. Does that mean that it's a mental disorder? Or are they socially deviant? Is it a choice?" Ameerah ranted. Levi's mouth dried as his stomach twisted with a horrible feeling.

"So don't tell me that my beliefs are intolerant. Because yours are just as judgemental." She said before rooting through her bag. He swallowed hard and looked away, unable to come up with a response.

"And here's your fucking weed. I don't keep it in my house." She snapped throwing a little bag into his lap. He quickly stuffed it into the front pocket of his backpack and took his books out, just as the teacher walked in. The two spent the rest of the lesson in silence.
