Levi sighed as his phone pinged once more. He was sat on his bed, typing up notes from his psychology textbook on his laptop. Grayson had been sending him messages all day that he was trying to ignore. Didn't he understand that Levi was trying to do what's best for him?
Levi had used up all of his will power through out the day, and hadn't read a single text or looked at a single drawing Grayson had sent him, deciding that he need distance in order to forget him. After 30 minutes of the nearly constant pings from his phone, Levi let out a frustrated groan.
Grabbing the phone, Levi opened his chat with Grayson, and the latest message was a drawing of Grayson lying in bed alone, a frown on his face, with the caption 'Grayson alone in universe 1'. The next text that came through was another drawing, this time of Grayson and Levi snuggled up the bed, sleeping with smiles. Its caption read 'Grayson and Levi together in universe 2971'. Levi's heart ached in his chest as he stared down at his phone. Before Levi could lock his phone once more, the chat bubble popped up, and Levi found himself on edge as he waited for Grayson's response.
Grayson: I know that night must have scared you and I'm sorry. I know I'm a freak, but maybe we could meet up and talk?
Levi's debated on even repsonding. What did he want to talk about? He probably just wanted to repeat what Rosie had already told him. Make sure that Levi knows it wasn't real. That is was just a good idea. Or did he want to rub it in Levi's face? Laugh at him for falling for someone who didn't have feelings for him. Levi decided that whatever Grayson wanted to say, it wouldn't be good. It would be better if Levi ended things here and now. It would save himself a lot of hurt in the future.
Levi: I don't want to see you. You lied to me, and it didn't mean anything anyway, did it? Please stop sending me drawings. Its for the best thing for both us.
He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in, and tossed his phone back onto the bed. Placing his head in his hands, Levi let out a loud, frustrated shout. It was clear to Levi that he wasn't meant to be happy. Universe #1 hated Levi. But he hope the lucky bastard in Universe #2971 was as happy as he should be.
