The two couples sat in the bar area of the restaurant after eating. Levi was glad he got that job with Brooklyn, we was gonna fucking need it after tonight.

Levi stared at his bottle of Coke, deciding not to drink tonight. Both girls had gotten cocktails and Grayson, a beer. The two boys had been sending each other glances throughout the night. They hadn't spoken much, too uncomfortable to talk in the presence of Rosie and Charlotte.

"So how has your first year of uni been?" Charlotte asked Rosie. The two had been getting along well. Thank god.

"Oh, no I'm in my second year. But I love my course. I'm studying fashion design." Rosie gushed. Levi suddenly became interested in the conversation.

"Wait your in second year? So you're nineteen or twenty?" Levi asked Rosie.

"Nineteen. Turn twenty in May," Rosie nodded.

"So how did youse two meet then?" Charlotte asked. Levi looked over a Grayson, who was finishing off his drink.

"We went to school together. Got together when I was in year 13 and he was in year 12." Rosie answered.

"So how old are you then?" Levi asked Grayson confused.

"Nineteen. I was born in September. Just missed out on the year above." Grayson mumbled.

"Oh. Right." Levi nodded.

"Are you going to stay on and go to sixth form or go to college, Charlotte?" Rosie asked.

"Sixth form. I was to become a primary school teacher. I just love kids, they're so funny and cute." She laughed.

"Well you seem to know exactly what you want. You're very mature for your age," Rosie complimented. Charlotte blushes tucking a piece of her bleach blonde behind her ear.

"I like to think so."

Grayson let out a quite groan only Levi heard before he stood up. "I'm going to get another drink."

"Do you really think that's a good idea Grayson?" Rosie said warningly as she grabbed his arm halting him in his path.

"Do you really think that it's a good idea to baby me. Stop being so fucking condescending all the time," Grayson snapped. Rosie let go of his arm as if it had burned her.

She teared up and her voice began to crack. "I-I just need to go the bathroom. Excuse me."

She got up and quickly walked in the direction of the toilets. Charlotte gave both boys a disapproving look before running after her. Grayson sighed heavily and sat back down putting his head in his hands.

Levi had no fucking idea what to do. He's never been in a situation like this before. "Are-are you okay?"

Grayson's head shot up and he stared at leave for a couple of seconds. "Come on. We're leaving."

He stood back up and grabbed the other boy by his hand. Levi quickly grabbed his jacket as Grayson pulled him out of the restaurant and into the cold February air.
