Levi stared at himself in the mirror, fixing his new work shirt, trying to make it look half decent. Xavier had taught him how to iron the night before so that wasn't the problem. The problem was that Brooklyn could only get him a shirt that was two sizes two big. He was able to wear his own black jeans, school shoes. He was nervous. He had never had a real job before. He pulled on a zip up hoodie and his denim jacket. He took his phone off charge and checked the messages.*𝟤 𝗍𝖾𝗑𝗍𝗌 𝗆𝖾𝗌𝗌𝖺𝗀𝖾𝗌 𝖿𝗋𝗈𝗆 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻*

Grayson had left with his parents to go up to Liverpool yesterday once he got home. He put his phone in his pocket and went into the kitchen. Xavier was at the table, dressed in sweats and slides, reading the paper. Brooklyn cooking his breakfast.
"Morning! Ready for your first shift?" Xavier asked, not looking up from the paper. Levi grabbed a bottle of apple juice out of the fridge and sat down opposite him.
"I think so. Just a bit nervous."
"You'll be fine. I'm showing you what to do anyway and we're on the shop floor rather than the kiosk, which is so much easier." Brooklyn said.
Levi nodded his head and let a breath out. He was starting to feel a bit sick actually.
"You coming straight home with us after work? Or are you going to see Charlotte?" Xavier teased, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Home. I think I need to break up with Charlotte." Levi mumbled.
"Oh. Well I'm sorry?" Xavier said, slightly confused.
"Don't be. She's just... intense. She wants too much too soon."
"That's a very mature way on thinking. You've surprised me Levi," Xavier said smiling, Brooklyn put his breakfast in front of him. "Mmm, thanks baby."
