Levi was lying on his bed watching Netflix on his laptop . What Ameerah said the other day had been on his mind since their conversation. Grayson had recommended the series American Vandal to Levi, who immediately began watching it, but he was struggling to focus. His phone pinged on the table to next to him causing him to pause the show.*𝗍𝖾𝗑𝗍 𝗆𝖾𝗌𝗌𝖺𝗀𝖾 𝖿𝗋𝗈𝗆 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀*

Levi put his phone down and played the show again for all of 2 minutes before a knock on his door disturbed him.
"Come in." He mumbled quietly, hoping they would go away. In walked Lucas with a soft smile displayed on his face.
"Hello my love!" He smiled, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Hi." Levi greeted. He close his laptop and sat up, crossing his legs.
"I just wondered how you were doing, if you wanted to talk about anything?"
"Nope. I'm fine." Levi answered shortly, avoiding Lucas' gaze.
"Okay. How is Grayson doing?" Lucas asked, giving Levi a knowing look. Levi gave up, deciding that maybe telling Lucas wouldn't be too bad. His secret had been weighing down on him, so much so that he had began to feel sick with guilt nearly all the time.
"He's good. I- he..... He isn't just a f-friend." Levi admitted quietly, his voice just above a whisper.
"Okay. That's good." Lucas smiled at him supportively. Levi began to relax slowly, feeling good about talking about it.
"We didn't do anything on Friday, I swear!" Levi said quickly.
Lucas laughed lightly shaking his head. "Levi, remember that it was me that found you drinking alone, looking like you were about to cry in that gay bar. So, it doesn't matter to me if you did."
"Yeah, I know. I'm just... I don't want you to think that I'm like, a full on homo just because I like Grayson."
Lucas smile dropped, now confused and slightly offended. "What do you mean?"
"Well, it's not like I'm going to be prancing around in drag or listening to Lady Gaga or shoving it in everyone's face that I'm at gay pride or whatever." Levi ranted, trying time stop Lucas from thinking he had found a new gay best friend to show off.
Lucas was now very offended, catching Levi off guard. "Okay, there are a lot of fucking problems with what you've just said Levi. None is telling what to wear or what to listen to or how to fucking act. But don't be acting like your better than drag queens, or Lady Gaga or anyone who's at gay pride."
"No Lucas, that's not what-"
"It is what you meant. Drag queens led the gay pride movement at stonewall. Lady Gaga has fought and advocated for gay rights her entire career. And pride? Pride is the only place some people feel that they can truly be free. Pride is a celebration of people who can live and love freely. It's a statement that we won't be going anywhere. No matter how many times people verbally abuse us, or beat us, or trying to take our rights away by law. So just because you can't allow yourself to live and love freely Lucas, it doesn't mean that you can go around slagging off things like pride. Make sure to think before you speak."
And with that Lucas stormed out, slamming the door behind, leaving Levi sat there speechless and ashamed.
