Levi could not be arsed. They had to walk half way to the house because the taxi threw them out for the boys being too fucking annoying. Brooklyn and Xavier had walked on ahead,
but Levi and his friends stopped to get some more beer. They walked in a row down the quiet suburban road, four friends being the only source of noise. Levi paid no attention to the nice houses that looked like they didn't belong in London, instead focusing his gaze on his shoes or the road ahead of him. He had already drank 5 beers and was beginning to feel the effects.Once they reached the house that they saw Brooklyn and Xavier disappear into, they were greeted with a man who looked about Xavier's age blocking the door. The boys gave him an awkward smile before trying to get in the door. The man just laughed and blocked it completely.
"Not a fucking chance bruv! Look at you! There's no way you know Josh, so there's no way your getting in." He laughed.
"Nah, we know Charlotte. He's Charlotte's boyfriend." Jaxon explained, patting Levi's shoulder, who nodded.
"Charlotte didn't mention any boyfriend or his weird fucking friends." He mumbled, eyeing up Levi and his mates. Levi looked into the house to see if he could recognise anyone who would get them in seeing Ameerah and Elle. All he wanted to do was get in, get drunk, get high and hopefully not be sick.
"Look, go and ask those two girls. They'll tell you." He said pointing to the two. But as he looked back into the house his heart dropped into his stomach, walking from one room to the kitchen at the bag was Grayson and Danny. Maybe coming to this party had been a bad idea. How did Grayson even know Charlotte's brother. Unless Charlotte has invited him? She wouldn't do that would she? Surely not.
"Do you know these guys?" The man asked Ameerah and Elle who glared at Levi and his friends. Levi and Ameerah hadn't spoken about what happened the other day. And by the looks of things, neither of them intended to.
Elle smiled, blushing slightly at the sight of Matty and was about to confirm Levi's story before she was cut off.
"No." Ameerah said, glaring at Levi.
Levi suddenly felt a surge of emotions. But not at Ameerah's words. Pain, anger, longing. He couldn't help himself, pushing past the man and chasing after Grayson. He needed to speak to him. Just once. Just once so that he could get some closure. So he could find out what he did wrong. Maybe he could fix it, if he knew what he did wrong. Overcome with a sudden adrenaline rush, he pushed his way through the crowds unsparingly, and looked in the room his blue eyes boy had come out of, only spotting Brooklyn and Ruby. Letting out a frustrated groan he pushed his way back, and started going towards the kitchen before he was promptly stopped in his tracks.
The sight made Levi feel like he was going to be sick. Rosie was sat on the kitchen island, Grayson in between her legs. They were talking but Levi couldn't hear what they were saying. She smiled at him and pulled him in for a deep kiss, practically swallowing him in Levi's opinion. He couldn't look at this any more or he genuinely would be sick. As he turned to leave he bumped into to someone and looked down to see Charlotte there. She glared back up at him and shoved him.
"What the fuck are doing here Levi! I don't want you anywhere fucking near me!" Charlotte screamed over the music. The alcohol clouding his judgement and his friends disappointment looming over him.
"I'm here to say sorry Charlotte." He whispered into her ear and dipped down to kiss her.
She shoved him away, "You're fucking gay Levi! Stop using people and pretending. It's 2020 for fucks sake!"
Her words knocked the breath out of him. Levi's night couldn't have possibly got worse. He felt everyone's eyes on him as he stumbled away. Their whispers were louder than the music. He had never felt so ashamed, and he needed to get out of there asap. Levi pushed past the guy in the door way and walked out into the drive way.
"What happened Lee? Did you talk to her?" Matty asked eagerly. Levi shook his head and began walking away.
"Levi? Are you okay bruv?" Jaxon asked grabbing his arm. Levi yanked his arm out of his grasp.
"Of course he's not. What is it this time? Your mum? School? Job? Didn't like the colour of Charlottes dress?" Thomas mocked, letting out a fake laugh. Something in Levi snapped and he lunged for his friend.
"Why do you have to be such a fucking prick all the time!" He shouted, shoving Thomas hard. Thomas stumbles slightly, before gathering himself and lunging for his friend, swinging his fist and catching Levi's jaw. Jaxon and Matty tried to pry the friends apart but failed as Levi, recovered from the blow quickly.
"Fuck you Levi! You've got a fucking cheek calling me a prick!"
"All you care about is girls, and partying and weed!" Levi screamed, punching Thomas square on the nose.
Thomas went to swing for Levi once more but Matty, with the help of Mason held him back as Jaxon and a random lad pulled Levi away. "Stop! Fucking Stop it! You're friends!"
"Fuck you Levi. He ain't my mate." Thomas glared. Levi sighed. He couldn't deal with this anymore. He stormed off, throwing his friends the middle finger as he walked away.
"I've had enough of him acting like a little bitch." Thomas spat, brushing himself off, wiping away the blood that was dripping from his nose.
