"So where's you're mum and dad then?" Levi asked as he stirred the pasta sauce he was making. He added a few shakes of the Italian seasoning mix he found in Grayson's cupboard and stirred again.

"My mum is originally from Liverpool, and they go up every now and then to visit her side of the family and watch a game." Grayson answered as he say on a bar stool opposite to where Levi was cooking.

"And they just leave you here? I know Liverpool are smashing it in the league, but bruv..."

"Nah, nah, they don't like leaving me here and I usually go with them but I have training tomorrow at the same time as the game." Grayson explained.

Levi tasted the sauce before adding more salt and tomato purée. He stirred once more, absorbing the information. Levi's phone had been constantly buzzing with messages from his friends and Charlotte but he had ignored them all. He lifted the spoon up again, but this time turned and offered it to Grayson, holding his hand to catching any that drips. Grayson opens his mouth slightly, a playful look in his eye as Levi fed him the bolognese sauce.

Grayson chews quickly, nodding his head, "This tastes so fucking good man! You're a good cook, you know that?!"

Levi blushed, smiling. He turned back around, turning it on a low heat to allow it to thicken.

"I'm not too bad I guess. So you play football then?" He said feigning ignorance. He grabbed his beer from the kitchen counter and took a large gulp.

"Yeah, only a local team but I think we're half decent. We're at the top of the local league like. I've even had scouts at my games." Grayson grinned, causing Levi's eyebrows shot up, once again impressed.

"Fucking hell. You mustn't be too bad then." He said nonchalantly.

"You could say that. I've been playing all my life but I only started playing professionally two years ago. It helps me focus. Let's me get all the energy out." Grayson explained.

This boy never fails to surprise Levi, who gave him a small smile before turning around and turning the stove off. "Do you have any spaghetti?"

"Fucked if I know. Let me see if we have any for you," Grayson said smiling, making Levi giggle. Fucking giggle. What had he been reduced to? Grayson reached up over the younger boy and pulled the packet of spaghetti out of the cupboard above. He handed it to Levi who was now just centimetres away.

Their eyes locked, neither noticing the front door open and close. Levi couldn't tear his eyes away from those bright blue ones he had come to adore so much. He scanned every detail of them, trying to imprint the image into his mind.

"Grayson? What the fuck are you doing?"

The boys quickly jumped apart, Levi tried to recover, looking everywhere but Grayson as he cleared his throat. He looked up to see a pretty girl standing in the doorway, with light brown hair and hazel eyes, looking confused.

"Hi Rosie, w-what are you doing here?" Grayson questioned as he walked up to her.

"We were supposed to be going for dinner knobhead. Who's this?" She asked quietly, her eyes flicking behind Grayson's shoulder to Levi. Feeling self-conscious he offered a quick fake smile and reached for his phone

He was fucked beyond belief. He pulled his attention away from his phone and looked back up at Grayson and Rosie, who seemed to be having a whisper fight.

"Get rid of him now Grayson!" Rosie whisper shouted, giving him an angry look.

"Listen bruv, I totally forgot it was date night, I was supposed to be going out with Rosie. I'm so sorry for kicking you out like this," Grayson explained awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. Date night? Oh my god. He had a girlfriend. A girlfriend! Levi had never felt more stupid.

"No, of course yeah! My friend was already on their way to pick me up anyway," He rambled, collecting his stuff. His phone pinged, signalling a response from Brooklyn. He rushed passed Rosie before turning back.

"Sorry for intruding. I didn't mean too," He said quietly, offering her a half smile. She gave him a fake smile back, nodding but not saying anything. He turned back around and threw his tie around his neck before jamming his feet in his shoes.

Grayson followed him into the hallway, watching with amusement as Levi floundered. "It was fun having you over. We should do it again."

Levi stopped dead in his tracks to the door. He turned back around looking like a deer caught in headlights before his managed to compose himself. "Errr yeah. Me too. Thanks for having me."

He practically ran out of the door and onto the street. He began to walk up the street, pulling his blazer on properly and making himself look presentable. Once sorted, he pulled his phone out.
