Levi had made his way back to the Airbnb 10 minutes ago, on the instructions of Rosie who thought he might have made his way back there already. He had been sat on the steps that led up to it since, still clutching Grayson's clothes close to his chest. What the fuck happened? They were having such a good time and then he goes and does this? Levi couldn't understand it. His chest hurt, and he was slightly overwhelmed by all the emotions he was feeling.
Levi had tried calling Grayson's phone, hoping that he had taken it with him but got no answer. Just as he was debating getting the next tube to Paddington station, Rosie came running down the street, causing Levi to stand up.
"Has he not turned up yet?" Rosie asked as she met Levi.
"N-no, I don't know what happened, one moment we were sleeping, and, and the next he was walking out of the flat naked Rosie, I-" Levi wailed, trying so hard to hold the tears back.
"For fuck's sake Levi, get your head out of the fucking sand! He's bipolar! He's fucking on one!" Rosie shouted, feeling no sympathy for the boy. Levi felt his heart drop to his stomach almost instantly, the sock written all over his face.
"What?" He whispered, not fully comprehending what was happening.
"He's bipolar! He must of stopped taking his medication, and now he's manic! He does all sorts of crazy shit, like stealing his mum's credit card! I mean, how else did you think he could afford a place like this? It's in Paddington!" She asked, crossing her arms as she chastised him.
"Well, I-, he wouldn't tell me, and I-"
"You didn't fucking think Levi. Did you smoke anything?"
"Just a little bit, I swear, we just-" Levi pleaded, feeling so guilty.
"Weed fucks him up. He can't do it. Shit." Rosie sighed, before going on her phone.
"His parents are out looking for him, as well as the police. All we can do now is wait."
"The, the police? Really?"
"Yes the police! What if he's been beat up?! Or he had money on him and robbed?! Anything could've happened to him." Rosie snapped.
The two sat in silence for a few minutes before Rosies phone rang. "It's his mum. Hello? Oh, thank god. Yeah, no problem. I'll meet you there. Okay. I have his stuff, yes. Bye."
"They've found him?" Levi asked standing up.
"The police found him about 10 minutes away. I meeting his parents there now."
"Okay, right. Uh, just, just let me get my shit and, I-I'll come with you." Levi nodded, still holding Grayson's clothes. Rosie snorted and snatched the clothes out of Levi's grasp.
"No. No, you're not going near him again. He doesn't need people like you around him."
"I- I'm his boyfriend, of course he needs me!" Levi snapped, grabbing the clothes back from her.
"No your fucking not Levi! You're just, a good idea to him! Last year, he wrote more fucking symphonies than Beethoven. The year before, he filled an art gallery with paintings. This year, he's begun to memorise every single word of every single Marvel movie, because he thinks it's a good idea. I mean, we finally thought that him putting all of his effort into football would help him focus." Rosie sneered. Levi struggled to form a response, instead letting out a few incoherent sounds.
"You're nothing real to him Levi. He doesn't really love you, and he won't want to really see you when this is all over, and he comes back down again. So, I swear to fucking god, if come near me, or my boyfriend again, I will find someone to kill you." She warned, before grabbing the clothes out of Levi's arms again and storming off. Levi feel down onto the steps as his was washed over with emotion. He couldn't believe what she had said to him. How could Grayson do this to him?
