Levi trudged to his form room, Chloe and Brooklyn in tow. "Have youse two started the new season of Man Like Mobeen yet?"

"We watched the first episode last night didn't we?" Brooklyn said, eliciting a nod from Levi who was once again distracted.

"Oh my days, you aren't ready! I ended up binge watching it on Saturday and it's so good!" Chloe said excitedly throwing her hands up.

"No spoilers. We only go through one episode because Xavier had to be up early for his flight and he wouldn't let us watch it without him." Brooklyn explained as they turned a corner.

"Where is he going this time?" Chloe asked.

"Only Dublin. He's having to sort out staffing issues at the branch, his boss is being a proper dickhead at the moment."

Levi scanned the hall, uninterested in Xavier's work life. Stood at a row of lockers after his form room was Charlotte. This was his chance. He had tried to message chloe on Sunday but got no reply.

"Youse go in, I'll catch up." He said, not waiting for an answer.

"What the fuck is wrong with him lately?" Chloe asked Brooklyn as they watched him jog over to the year 11.

"I don't know. I'm worried about him. With the gay porn Ruby found on his phone, the stuff with his mum and the contestant string of girls, I don't know what to say." Brooklyn mumbled.

Levi stood next to Charlotte who hadn't spotted him due to the open locker blocking out his face. She shut it and turned to walk in the direction that Levi was blocking. She jumped once she spotted him, immediately glaring at him.

He gave her a rather feeble smile as she stared at him deadpan. "What do you want Levi?"

"I just wanted to apologise for the arsehole who blanked you and didn't turn up to, what I'm sure, was the best party this school has seen." Levi pleaded, pretending to be serious.

Charlotte relaxed a bit but still wouldn't look at him. "Well you can tell that arsehole that he really fucked up. And hurt me."

"He knows he was wrong. And he's pleading for your forgiveness right now. I'm so sorry." Levi said, pulling on her arm lightly. She caved, trying to stop herself from smiling as she let him tug her into a hug. Levi relaxed and gave her a quick peck, thankful that she had forgiven him. But that didn't ease the small tinge of guilt he constantly felt around her.
