Three drinks in and he had lost track of Taehyung, a fact that he had only recently become aware of. Sure he could probably find him again pretty easily, if he felt like moving from the spot he had won for himself, perched upon a high bar stool near the front of what should have felt like a rather large room, but considering just how packed with bodies it currently was, the atmosphere was almost stifling.

Music pumped through the over sized speakers at such a volume that he could practically feel the floor shake beneath him with the force of the bass, the vibrations dancing up the legs of the stool and making his entire body buzz.

It had been well over an hour, their usually agreed upon amount of time that he had to stay somewhere before leaving, but the drinks were strong and flowing freely, and for once he was actually enjoying becoming lost in the act of simply watching, taking in the environment around him and observing. Occasionally someone would attempt to speak with him, would brush overly close trying to get to the bar, or would come within his range while dancing. But none of it was ever anything more than that, and he was starting to think perhaps the outfit just wasn't having the desire affect after all.

"You look lonely." The voice came from his left, a deep rumble of the words that were spoken so lowly he thought for a moment that surely they hadn't been directed at him. Until his eyes lifted from where they had been focused on his drink, only to become instantly enamored with the set of lips that were currently pouting at him. "My eyes are up here, doll."

"Sorry." It was quick and mumbled and he was certain he had just ruined whatever slight interest this person had in him simply by being himself. Awkward and introverted and surely there was no one at a party like this who would want someone like that. But as his eyes glanced up and he took in the entire package, he actually wished for once in his entire life that look would be on his side.

There was nothing exceptionally extraordinary about the man on it's own. His forehead was exposed, sweeps of dark hair on either side leaving it peaking out behind the strands. His eyes were equally dark, like deep pools of inky blackness that he could have allowed himself to get lost in forever. His nose was like a large button, smoothing out into tanned, unblemished skin. And those lips were sinful, a bright red like had been bitten and kissed, but that thought was enough to bring him out of whatever momentarily trance they'd managed to place him in. All of those features came together perfectly, forming a face that appeared as though it had been formed by the gods themselves.

Which meant that this man was entirely and completely out of his league - not that he exactly had one, he was pretty much at the lowest tier possible - and all allowing his thoughts to go down that path would lead to is disappointment.

"If you like them that much maybe you should try them." There was that voice again, drawing him out of his thoughts, and when he glanced back up, the other had moved in far closer than before. There wouldn't have been much difference between them in height if he were to stand, but his current position meant he had to cant his head upwards to take in sight of the man who was currently filling his field of vision, narrowing it down until he began the entirety.

"Huh?" Any normal person would have realized those words for what they were. But his painfully awkward self just didn't get the invitation.

"I said -" His breath caught in his throat as the other leaned inwards, letting those lips press against the shell of his ear slowly. "- if you like them that you much maybe you should try them."

All that would come as a response was a soft grasp, fingers tightening around the glass they currently held as it threatened to fall.

"Yours look so soft baby boy." At some point during the night the gloss had worn off, and he had replaced it with a sweet scented balm, making it easy to rub them together now as the other continued to speak, his heart skipping a beat before racing back to life. "Can I try them?"

Was this supposed to be happening? Because he was relatively certain this was not what he intended. And maybe that was his problem. He never allowed anything like this to take place. Never even put himself into the type of situation where it might occur. And now that it had, he was panicking, his pulse racing and his thoughts a mess as he desperately tried to figure out how he should answer. All he could manage was a soft nod, taking the fuller bottom beneath his teeth and nipping at it in anticipation.

"Use your words." Consent was important, and a nod just wasn't going to cut it.

"Yes." Despite whatever reservations were currently swirling through his mind - and there were many - he wanted this. Wanted to act just a little bit reckless. Wanted to have one singular moment in his life that seemed perfect. Where someone wanted him.

"Good boy." A thumb and forefinger gripped his chin then, rough and forceful, tilting his head back until it was practically falling between his shoulders. Deep eyes fluttered closed as hot breath breezed across his face, and he felt the first spark of lips against his own. It was soft, gentle and slow, such a distinct contradiction to the hold currently seizing his chin. But it only made him more pliant, letting out a soft cry as the kiss deepened, as a tongue swiped across his lips and forced it's way into his mouth.

It was bitter, like the alcohol they had both been drinking, but there was a sweetness that swept through at the end, a hint of candy and sugar that he could so easily grow addicted to. His own mouth tasted like vanilla and strawberries, a combination of the fruity drinks he had been sticking to since arriving. Slick balm made the slide of their lips easy, and he realized belatedly that it wasn't entire his. Those lips were soft and subtle and covered in chocolaty sweetness, leaving behind that aftertaste he so desperately wanted to chase.
