There was another hole in his dry wall.
He felt it happen. Knew the very instant it occurred without actually being present for the incident it's self. Knew by the way everyone instantly glanced upwards at the exact same moment precisely where it had come from. And perhaps more importantly, who had caused it. Felt something inside of himself tighten and then crack, like maybe the injury hadn't happened to his way, but had been inflicted upon his own body instead.
It was a strange series of events that lead to this one moment, and later when he attempted to recount them, he would realize that there was nothing actually special about any of it. In fact, the were so ordinary that he barely even remembered them at all. Could clearly recall walking away from Jimin and barely even getting five feet before he was being flagged down by a table that wasn't even his. They wanted salsa, of all things, and he had to explain for what felt like the actual millionth time that he was sorry, but such things just weren't readily available at most places. Because this was Korea and they ate things like soy sauce and wasabi with most of their food.
But they wanted salsa. He remembered that. It had ended with him agreeing to look, despite knowing that none existed anywhere within the entire building. Breaking the news had been an interesting affair, and maybe that was why he didn't actually notice when Jimin finally left. It was only minutes later when he realized that someone else entirely was now occupying that little two top, that the icy chill was gone, the tension lifted and the atmosphere returned to as it should be.
He had thought that was the end of it. And it should have been. Truly. Everything that occurred afterwards should never have come to pass.
But luck was just simply not a gift that he had been given. And it had never once been on his side.
So there was another hole in his dry wall. And yet another series of questions that he had no answers to.
