Since Uncle Kim is back at home from his week long trip, Taehyung and I are back on our...better behavior.
Whenever he's not looking or around Taehyung showers me with plenty of affection and attention. From stealing sweet innocent kisses to naughtily teasing me when he finds the opportunity. I can't complain or get on to him for the sneaky behavior since I do the same thing to him. It's almost become some sort of a competition to see who can get to the other first.
After breakfast, Justin called Taehyung to see if we'd like to meet him at a festival being held in the city.
I was all for it as I had never actually gone but always heard it was fun. I did notice that he asked if I could bring Madison along too. Looks like we're having a double date. That's fine with us. Otherwise, Justin may have ended up feeling like a third wheel.
I decide on denim shorts, sandals and a loose flowing cream colored tank top. I opt for very minimal makeup since it'd probably end up melting off of my face anyway and I let my hair fall naturally.
I think I'm dressed fine until we swing by to pick up Madison and she comes out looking like she's headed to Coachella. I'm not sure if I'm under dressed or if she's over dressed but either way it's too late for me to make any changes.
"Hey Ava. Hey Taehyung." Madison chimes as she hops in the backseat and takes off her sunglasses. "Um...Taehyung, you're not still mad at me for having you guys go to that party, are you?"
"Huh? I was never mad at you." Taehyung glances at the back seat through the rear view mirror.
"I thought you were since you kind of snapped at me when I asked if you two were leaving."
"No, I wasn't mad at you. Just mad." Taehyung gives her a soft smile that eases her mind.
I peek over at Taehyung and begin to blush as the sweet night that followed replays in my memory. He gives me a wink and I know he's thinking the same thing. Ever since then, I feel like we're more connected.
"Do you think he likes me?" Madison asks as we drive to pick up Justin.
"I mean, he did ask for us to come get you." I say as I turn to look at her.
"Taehyung, what do you think?" She asks completely ignoring my opinion.
"Definitely."
"Did you know he's going to go to another university in the same city as we are? If things progress between us at least we won't have to break if off when school starts."
I quickly look to Taehyung who grimaces at her words. I know she didn't mean to be inconsiderate, but she just wasn't thinking. Reaching over, I caress his cheek and he turns his face into my touch. He knows I'm thinking the same thing.
We pull up to Justin's house and make a quick phone call to let him know we're outside. He comes walking out to the car looking handsome, yet casual, in his white sneakers, blue jean shorts and plain white T-shirt. So either three out of the four of us are underdressed or Madison is over doing it. Knowing her, she wouldn't care either way.
"Hey bro. Hi Ava." Justin beams as he sits behind Taehyung. "Hey Madison, you look really nice today."
"Thank you. So do you." She says with a hint of flirtation laced in her voice.
And so it begins. Oh well, at least I like him much better than Alex so far. I shiver again at the thought of his gross hands on me.
I decide to put on some music on the drive up there, turning it up much louder than what we normally ride with. Madison and I end up singing at the top of our lungs and performing our own personal little concert.
