        "You shouldn't have done that, (Y/n)." You were currently seated in front of your lover, using your water magic to clean his wounds. You would've had him healed, but Leif was out at the moment, so you were forced to make due with what you had.

         Currently, he was suggesting that you had left him after he had been attacked, seeing as you were injured in the process of protecting him. But there was no way that you would ever leave him.

        "I don't mind looking out for you, Noi. I prefer to know that you're safe." He winced at the feeling of your palm over an open wound, to which you mumbled a quiet apology.

        "B-But... you got hurt too..." Even now, he was still being so selfless. Daemos weren't usually like that. It was nice. Nice to know that he was the only one for you.

        You held his face, making him look at you. "I don't mind taking a hit for you. I love you."

        He stared back at you, silently, his face reddening significantly. "L-Love...?" He pulled his face away and stared down, shyly. "I-I-I love y-you too..." You smiled at him and placed a caress on his head, before going back to his wounds.

        But he grabbed your arm and intertwined his fingers with yours. "I promise that I'll be someone worth loving." He said, quietly. You leaned in, pressing another caress to his lips.

        "You already are..."

        Rhys entered the room around a minute later, informing you that Leif had returned. You followed him out of the room, leaving Noi to think of you. He couldn't seem to stop smiling at the thought of you...
