Prince Asch never answered to anyone. He rarely let distractions intercept him, especially now that he's searching for a way to prevent the magic crisis. But someone caught his attention on Earth. Ava's roommate, (Y/n).

At first, it was more like confusion than anything. You didn't fear the Daemos the same way that Ava did. You didn't let Asch push you around, but you still assisted him. And he couldn't seem to wrap his head around why.

Then he started talking to you: asking you questions, mentioning things about himself. It was out of character, but not unwelcome. You liked Asch. And if anything, his genuine intrigue in you just made you admire him more.

The more Asch spoke to you and the more he let his guard down, the more he found himself less willing to leave you. He started to notice little things about you: the way your (h/c) looked in the sunlight, the way you (e/c) eyes sparkled when you were happy, the way your smile was so warm and contagious. But above all else, he loved when you said his name.

        "Good morning, Asch!"

To him, there was no sound sweeter than the way his name rolled off your tongue when you addressed him. He could never stop his heart from beating a little quicker when you did.

...

And then you got a job. You and Ava seemed happy about it, so he initially didn't think much of it. But then you weren't around as often. And he started to miss you. He noticed that morale seemed lower in your absence. He wasn't the only one who was missing you and the life you brought to the apartment when you were there.

He missed hearing you say his name.

So, now, here you were, pinned to a wall by the Daemos prince himself, after getting home from a shift.

"O-Oh, Asch, did you need something?"

He leaned closer, so that his head was resting against the wall beside your own. "...I've missed you." He sounded almost embarrassed to admit it, but his words made your heart ache.

"I'm sorry, Asch, I've been busy." One of your hands moved up to awkwardly pat his shoulder. "I know it's kind of late, but is there anything I can do?"

He smirked to himself. "Say my name."

        "Huh?"

"You heard me. Say it." He removed you hand from his shoulder and intertwined his fingers with yours.

"Asch..." You sounded hesitant, so unlike the way you would normally. He didn't like it.

        "Again."

"Asch." That one was better. His other arm slid down the wall and wrapped around your waist. He buried his face against your neck.

        "Again."

"A-Asch." He smiles against your neck, moving his head back. You two were now face-to-face, and you could tell he was enjoying every bit of it, from your cute stutter to your excessively red face.

Without another word, he leaned in a pressed his lips to yours.

You smiled slightly when he pulled away. "G-Guess I'll just have to spend some more time with you, Asch."

        "I'd like that, (Y/n)..."
