Everyone is now gathered around a picnic table in Emily's garden; Bella is beside Jacob, Wynonna is sitting between Paul and Nigel, Eliza is in a chair between Embry and Jared, Sam is at one end of the table beside Emily.
"I should leave town," Bella says, referring to Victoria being back in town.
"Victoria will follow you and make it harder for us to catch her," Sam replies to her while Eliza stuffs her face.
"No one can catch her," Bella claims. "She can escape anything."
"Anything but my webs," Wynonna muses.
Paul smirks, and he looks at Bella. "She has special powers?" He asks teasingly.
"Some of them do," Bella replies.
The wolves all look at her while the Ryder family all eat their breakfast in silence, minding their own business. Emily smiles at the three of them and she carries on eating, too, and drinking her glass of milk.
"Like.... what?" Jacob asks. "Bella?"
"The mind reader you said you knew," Jared speaks up, remembering the other night when Bella found out the secret. "He was a suckhead? Can they all do that?"
"That would blow," Embry comments.
"It really would," Nigel agrees. "Reading minds?" He shudders, making Embry and Jared bust out laughing.
"No, I - - shouldn't have - - no..." Bella stammers.
"She's still protecting them," Paul scoffs.
"I don't know why," Jared claims. "It's not like they stuck around to protect you - -"
"Back off," Wynonna snaps, and Jared looks down quickly, remembering she loved one of them, too.
"Sorry," Jared whispers.
While Nigel and Eliza stay with Sam, Embry drives Wynonna home, since Jared was the one who drove her here. Wynonna grips Embry by his shirt once inside and she connects their lips.
Embry grunts at the impact and he returns the kiss, and they lay on the couch in a heated, hormonal make out session.
