Nigel woke up with a red and runny nose the next morning, sneezing his little nose right off. He's been sneezing for the past couple todays but he looks pretty rough this morning.

Wynonna dresses her siblings and heads toward the ER, they have a walk in clinic because Nona hasn't chosen a family doctor for them yet. She's been looking but has yet to come across one.

Nona registers Nigel and they sit in the waiting room, and filling out paper work because it's Nigel's first time here. Bella had apparently been in an accident yesterday while Wynonna was swinging through the woods, and Charlie couldn't get ahold of her. Neither could Bella. Wynonna is glad Bella's okay because if the brunette wasn't, Wynonna probably wouldn't be able to forgive herself.

"Nigel Ryder?" A nurse calls as Carlisle checks on some clinic patients, he works in the clinic during its hours, unless there's an emergency in the emergency room.

"Come on, my babies," Wynonna coos as she carries them back.

The nurse asks Nona questions as she checks Nigel's vitals. Nona likes the doctors she's met so far. The nurses, anyway, they're all so kind and nice to her, and have outstanding bedside manners when it comes to caring for children.

"Doctor Cullen will be in shortly," the nurse coos and she looks at Nigel. "It was nice to meet you, Nigel."

The six year old blushes bashfully and he bows his head. The nurse smiles in a maternal way and she leaves the room, closing the door softly behind her. Wynonna sits in a chair with Eliza on one of her legs as Nigel sits patiently on the table.

Soon enough, there is a soft knock on the door and the squeezes as it opens. An inhumanly handsome man walks in with light blonde hair, golden/brown eyes, pale skin... Wynonna looks at the name sewn into the doctor coat.

            Dr. Carlisle Cullen.

"Hello, little man," Carlisle greets. "I'm doctor Cullen."

           "I'm Nigel," Nigel says shyly.

Carlisle grins at him and he looks at Wynonna. "What's wrong with little Nigel today, Miss Ryder?"

"I'm no doctor but I think he's got a cold," Wynonna admits. "He's been sneezing for a couple days, and he looks red and puffy today."

"Any fever? Diarrhea?" Carlisle asks as he checks Nigel's breathing and heartbeat with his stethoscope.

           "No, sir," Wynonna replies kindly.

Carlisle nods and he continues to examine Nigel. Eliza coos as she snuggled against Wynonna's chest. The sound warms Carlisle's dead body. He hasn't been around a child as young as Eliza since he was human. It's a foreign sound but it is always welcome, a happy baby cooing. Carlisle offen wishes he could have had a child or two before turning into a vampire.

"I'll be back in just a moment," Carlisle claims.

When Wynonna nods, Carlisle steps put. Nigel gets down off the table and he walks over to his sisters. He's kissing Eliza on the cheek as Carlisle re-enters the room. The doctor smiles at the sight.

"It is a cold, miss Ryder," Carlisle informs the eldest sister. "There is some children's cough and cold at the local pharmacy, over the counter. I'd like to see him again in about a week."

"Thank you, Doctor Cullen," Wynonna claims. "Are we finished? I'm certain my babies are hungry."

"I am!" Nigel says, his voice both nasally and excited. "I want a happy meal!"

Carlisle chuckles slightly. "You drive safe. I'll see you in a week."

Wynonna thanks him once more before carrying her siblings out to the car. She drives to the local pharmacy first for the cough and cold medicine for Nigel, carrying both kids in wirh her. She sees the woman from before picking up some bandages?

"Excuse me," Wynonna says to the pharmacist as Esme gets what she needs. "Where is your children's cough and cold located? Little dude has a cold."

The pharmacist offers a warm smile before she leads Nona over to an isle. Nigel walks beside his sister while Wynonna carries a one year old Eliza. Eliza has yet to speak but Nona just knows it will be soon.

"Mama," a baby like babble is heard. "Mama."

"Nona, that's her first word!" Nigel squeals happy, the nasally sound on his voice makes the kid grimace.

"Such an amazing milestone," the pharmacist claims as she stops in front of a display shelf. "Here you are. I'll let you choose the flavor for your boy. I'll be at the counter when you're finished."

Nigel ends up choosing the grape flavor. Esme almost tears up at the sight of the kids.

"Are they yours?" Esme asks kindly as they walk out to Nona's car, Esme following her out.

"Might as well be mine," Wynonna replies as she straps them in and she's the door. "I raixed them... I'm Wynonna and those are my siblings, Nigel and Eliza."

"I'm Esme Cullen," Esme replies. "How old are they?"

"Nigel's six and Eliza is one," Wynonna replies as she glances in their window. "I'm adopting them as soon as we're settled; we're new to Forks."

"Well, welcome," Esme coos. "You should come over for lunch, we can talk more. You can bring the kids."

Esme and Wynonna exchange numbers before both leaving. Nona drives to Port Angeles just to get Nigel a happy meal to appease his appetite. He even shares his fries and milk with Eliza.

Wynonna gets them ready for bed and tucked in that night before showering. She grabs her phone and sends Esme a text, saying that Nigel and Eliza are asleep and she is taking some me time.

"What are you cackling about?" Alexander Hale, Alice's mate, asks Esme as she laughs.

"Wynonna Ryder," Esme muses and Carlisle looks at her. "We met at the pharmacy. I was picking up some more of those wraps you guys needed for school or something. We're going to be great friends."

"That's nice," Carlisle replies as Jasper talks to Alice, he's trying to get a vision out of her; she saw his mate and won't tell him, neither will Edward.

"I invited her and the kids for lunch," Esme claims. "She's supposed to call and set it up when she can."

"What's she sayin' now?" Emmett asks.

"She got the kids to bed and is getting some time to herself in in the meantime," Esme smiles. "I'm gonna go and get food tomorrow, just in case. But tonight, who wants to hunt with me?"

"I'll go," Jasper says as he stands.

"Yeah, me too," Rosalie says as she stands. "Let's go."

Wynonna uses her webs to grab her laptop off the coffee table and she Skype calls Bella. The two talk for hours until they both grow tired and go to bed.
