Wynonna dropped Nigel and Eliza off with Sue on Saturday morning, happy about this week. Her first full week in Forks is officially over and she absolutely adores this small town.
Wynonna is right now pulling up to a cemetery in Seattle, Washington. She plans on visiting her parents' graves. They share a gravestone, and are buried right beside each other.
"Hi, mom, hey, dad," Wynonna greets as she sits on the stone bench one of her paternal uncles put in for this reasoning. "I'm sorry it took me so long to visit. I had to get moved and settled. We live in Forks now, mom, near your brother. Nigel and Eliza are doing good. Eliza's talking in random, small words. Nigel goes to school on the rez. His sitter said she'd make sure he went, both me and her are on the drop off and pick-up list."
"I trust her, guys, I truly do," Wynonna continues. "Nigel just got over a cold. We go on Monday for his follow up appointment at the walk-in clinic at the hospital here. I'm doing good, too, dad. My abilities. I use my webs to go swinging through the trees."
"That was you?" Esme's voice asks.
Wynonna turns quickly and sees her friend. "You scared me!"
"Sorry," Esme coos. "I was visiting. I lost a child and buried her here," she lies.
"I'm sorry," Wynonna asks and then she remembers her seeing a woman during her first swinging in Forks. "You're the woman I saw feeding on an animal while I was swinging."
"You explain your abilities to me and I'll explain my secret to you," Esme claims. "We can go to the park when you're finished here."
Wynonna nods. "Mom and dad, this is my friend, Esme. She's from Forks. But she's needing me." Wynonna lays the bouquet of rainbow colored roses (her mom's favorite) on the rock and she leaves with Esme.
***-***
Vampires? If Wynonna didn't have her own ability nor had she ever seen Esme feeding in the woods, she'd never believe this. Esme told Nona what she amd her family are. Nona is quiet as they drive back to forms, to Wynonna's.
Nona drops Esme off first and she heads home. She takes a long, hot shower to ease her tension. She feels as if she's going crazy with the newest information about vampires. It's weird, she never expected to be the only... Not normal person in town.
The Cullens might not be human, but Wynonna still sees them as people.
***-**Late afternoon noon, at twilight, Wynonna swings through the trees and she hears talking. She swings and she lands in a tree limb. She kneels as she sees the Cullens, they have baseball equipment. She watches as Edward arrives with... Bella?
'She knows?' Wynonna asks herself and luckily for her, Edward cannot read her mind - the spider bite and Nona's newer senses protects her mind.
"Good thing you're here," Esme says to Bella as Nona looks at Jasper, who seems to have caught her scent and is looking around in confusion. "We need an umpire."
"She thinks we cheat," Emmett muses with a crooked grin o pen his face.
"I know you cheat," Esme says. "Call 'em as your see 'em, Bella.""It's time!" Alice chirps from the pitcher's mound as Wynonna sits in the limb, keeping her feet up.
A rumble of thunder is heard throughout the clearing and the tree Nona is in. Bella stays near Esme, and Jasper tries to focus on the game. He smells Wynonna, big time. It's taking everything in him not to run in the trees and find her. He thinks she's hiking.
