Chapter 29: Party Planning

Bella and Edward are sitting at their lunch table together. Angela sitting there. Mike and Jessica are beside one another. Eric is beside angel an Angela is writing addresses in to the envelopes holding the graduation invitations. Jasper is on the other side of Edward.

"My fellow students," Mike mutters as he writes. "Cool. Right? Wow. Okey, right? Cute... We are the further. Anything is possible... if you just believe."

"Nice," Angela muses.

"Blah, blah, blah," Mike mutters as he writes random words. "Perfect," he muses. "And you got yourself a speech." He rips the piece of paper out of the notebook and he hands it to Jessica.

"No. This will be my graduation speech when I want graduation caps thrown at my head," Jessica says. "So... thank you." She crumpled up the paper and throws it at Mike.

"Ya gotta embrace the cliches, Jess," mole muses.

"They have the bread and butter of all valedictorians," Eric muses.

"And that is why you're not valedictorian," Angela says to her boyfriend. "And Jess doesn't need cliches. The speech is gonna be epic."

"Epic?" Jessica smirks. "It'll change lives."

Alice and Alexander soon come walking over to sit. They both have trays of food that they know they won't eat. Jasper merely got an apple from the salad bar, but doesn't eat it.

"I've decided to throw a party," Alice chirps.

Jasper smirks slightly. "After all," he says, "how many times are we gonna graduate from high school?"

Edward stifles a smile at Jasper's words.

"A party? At your place?" Angela asks.

"I've never seen your house," Jessica claims.

"No one's ever seen their house," Eric states.

"Another party, Alice?" Edward asks Alice.

"It'll be fun," Alice claims.

Dr. Julian runs a wand over Wynonna's stomach at the doctor's office in Port Angeles. Paul sits in the chair by the wall. They left Eliza with Sam and Emily while Nigel is at school.

The sound of a heartbeat fills the room, making both parents smile at the sound. The most amazing sound during pregnancy, the sound of your baby's heartbeat. Wynonna now understands why her mom always cried whenever she heard Nigel's heartbeat over the monitor, during her doctor's appointments.

Dr. Julian makes a teddy bear with the sound of Adam's heartbeat and sends it home with Wynonna. And makes a stuffed dinosaur for Paul, because that was his choice.

Wyn goes to the police station for lunch with her uncle and she sees Charlie speaking with a man and woman. Bella amd edward have entered. Charlie motions for them all to wait when he sees them, Wynonna smiles warmly at the distraught couple and she sits in a plastic chair.

Charlie finishes talking to mr. and Mrs. Biers and he approaches his daughter and niece. "Hey, guys."

"Hey," Bella greets.

"You're ready for dinner?" Charlie asks.

Wynonna calls Leah to check on Nigel, she says they picked up Eliza, too, so that Seth can spend some time with her. They all leave the station after Charlie puts the picture of Riley Biers into a file.

They find Edward outside and there is an instant tension.

"It is just the.,. Three of us, right?" Charlie asks.

"No, i was just dropping Bella off," Edward claims.

"Bye," Bella says and Edward goes to leave.

Edward stops and he turns to him. "Oh... Bella. My parents wanted to remind you about the... airline tickets you got for your birthday."

Bella eyes Edward suspiciously, but he keeps on a great poker face. He gives Wynonna a look, saying the coven will explain everything to her, and she sighs, nodding slightly.

"What airline tickets?" Charlie asks as Wynonna holds onto the teddy bear with her unborn son's heartbeat inside it.

"A round trip ticket to see mom in Florida," Bella replies.

"Wow, that's generous," Charlie claims.

"And it expires soon," Edward says, "they say you might wanna use it this weekend."

"I can't just drop everything and go," Bella says.

"I would if my mom were alive," Wyn claims and Bella looks at her. "You're blessed, Bella. You have both your parents."

Bella looms at Wynonna as Edward looks down, he forgot Wyn lost both of her parents. Bella sighs.

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing mom," Bella finally says. "As long as you use the companion ticket," she says to Edward.

"Wait, just two tickets?" Ghastlier sighs. "Super. That makes me really happy."

Wynonna sits with Alice on the second floor, on the living room, working on plans for the graduation party. Nigel is downstairs now with Emmett, playing a war game against each other.

Jasper is out hunting with Alexander. Rosalie is upstairs with Esme, they're discussing their human years, the times they miss the most. Carlisle is in his study with Eliza, reading through medical emails from the hospital. He isn't full time, he's just a surgeon they need if they patient is emergent.

               Alice smiles at some of Wynonna's amazing ideas and she shares her own ideas, as well.
