Chapter 49: Highway don't care

             Wynonna regrets driving home and not calling her husband. She had went to Port Angeles for a hair appointment, she got it cut. The dead ends.
  
           It's cold and raining, which can be a lethal combination. The rain is coming down pretty hard and the cold weather is making it freeze onto the black roads. And Wynonna has the radio playing loudly on her car, trying to block out the loud rain.

            She doesn't see the other car until it's too late. It's lights are bright and the temporarily blonde Wyn. She swerved her car and she goes over the guard rail and over the cliff, her car flipping half a dozen times. The other car is long, long gone by now. Leaving Wynonna alone.

              Jasper freezes during his hunt when he hears a car crash. He and Carlisle look at each other and they take off running toward the sound. Jasper halts I'm his step once again when he sees what car it is.

           "WYNONNA!!!!" Jasper yells emotionally as he flashes over, and Carlisle isn't far behind him.

             The vampires rip the metal away and Jasper pulls his bloody wife out of the car. He looks up at Carlisle, venom in his eyes.

           "Let's get her to the house," Carlisle instructs. "We can turn her before she dies."

             Jasper picks up his hurt wife and he flashes off, Carlisle runs behind him. Rosalie and Renesme freeze in the foyer when they see who Jasper is carrying in. They rush her upstairs to the room Bella was in and Jasper bites her all over, much like Edward did his own wife.

           Nigel watches with a hand on his mouth and tears pouring out of his eyes as he hugs Eliza. Liza is beginning to understand vampires and wolves, slowly, but barely. She waddles up to Emmett and he quickly leaves the room with her while Jasper's venom rushes through Wynonna's veins.
