Chapter 30: The Chase

Wynonna is perched in a tree one night, waiting for instructions. Alice's vision from school was about Victoria, James' mate, also known as the red head from the baseball game.

Alice is watching something in her mind at the moment. Jasper glances up at a pregnant Wynonna, who is hungry for a fight, much like Emmett is at a constant. The Cullens are all spread your. Carlisle is beside Esme, Jasper is wirh Alexander and alice, Emmett is beside Rosalie while Edward is in Florida with Bella.

"You sure this is where you saw her?" Jasper asks Alice when he finally turns away from his bloodsinger.

"She's almost here," Alice says and Wynonna shoots her web into a tree, one on different trees from each hand. "On your left!"

Emmett explodes to his left, Wyn is swinging above his head as Rosalie follows behind Emmett. Jasper and Carlisle go wife. Alexander, Esme, and Alice follow you in the rear with the spider girl above them, swinging from tree to tree with her webs.

A tense, but not afraid Victoria is running through the trees. Sure, Wynonna makes her nervous because she's pregnant and she could easily trap her with those webs, but she's not scared of her. Victoria soon aches a ravine and doesn't stop as she jumps over the water.

Carlisle stops Rosalie and Emmett from following. Wyn swings over and Paul barks up at her as Wyn chases Victoria with the pack on the ground now. Running in her abnormal speed in between Embry and Quil.

Victoria grows a tad more nervous because of the wolves and she jumps back onto the Forks side of the treaty. The pack and Wyn keeps running as Emmett fights Victoria and she jumps over again and this time, Emmett jumps after her, ignoring Esme's protests for him not to.

Emmett hears a growling as Wynonna walks over to Jasper, who wraps her in a secure hug. He turns and he finds Paul. Paul growls at him again and this makes Emmett smile before the fight. Victoria turns slowly and watches them curiously, and in shock.

"It's too bad she got away," Wynonna says after getting Nigel and Eliza bathed and in bed, she sits beside Jasper on her couch.

              Jasper hums in agreement as his ice cold hand rests on Wyn's leg. "Would Paul mind if I came along to your  next appointment?" He asks.

         "I'll go by there and ask," wym replies. "I have to get the kids from Sue anyway."

             Wyn touches Jasper's hand before she stands and she waddles out of the house. She uses her webs and swings to Sam's, where she left her car. She walks inside and finds the entire pack and their imprints there.

             "Paul, Jasper wants to come to the next appointment with us," Wynonna says first thing.

           Paul grunts but he nods. "He is your boyfriend. Seeing the ultrasounds in person is much better than seeing the after pictures."

           Wyn nods and she sits beside Embry, the one she made out with a while back... Not long after Jacob phases and ended up joining the pack after he denied being alpha. Embry nods in greeting before he goes back to his conversation about patrols for Victoria with Sam.

            Feeling a bit left out, Wynonna tries to get up but fails. She groans in frustration, making Jared laugh. He gets up and he helps the pregnant girl stand up. She slaps the side of his head before heading toward the kitchen to help Emily bake some muffins.

           "Mama!" Eliza's voice is heard and she runs into the kitchen.

           Wyn kneels amd she catches her daughter, and picks her up. Nigel comes walking in with Sue and he hugs Wynonna's legs. Sue tells Wyn that the kids were angels before she leaves for the cemetery to see Harry's grave. 

               Emily smiles and she hands Nigel a muffin that has cooled just enough. Nigel smiles and he runs back into the living room to hang out with the pack. Eliza bolts when she gets a muffin and from his laugh, Eliza has climbed into Sam's lap like always.

                 Emily smiles and she touches Wynonna's stomach, feeling Adam move around bit. The two ladies grin at each other.
