Chapter 46: Honeymoon spiral

The honeymoon was going amazingly. Protected sex, showers together, rushing through the woods of Texas together, merging Peter and his mate, Charlotte. Peter and Charlotte were surprised Jasper married a human until they saw what she could do, and they weren't as surprised by that, but only by why Jasper didn't marry her sooner.

Wynonna even went hunting with Jasper, Peter, and Charlotte once - just to see how they do it. It was honestly interesting and how well they stalked their pray and fed. Even if Peter and Charlotte fed from people.

The amazing honeymoon went spiraling down when Rosalie called in a panic. Bella took a seven year old looking Renesme out and Nessie jumped up and she caught a snowflake and Irina Denali saw her, and ratted. So now, the Volturi are coming. The kings, Jane, Alec, Felix, Demitri, and whoever else they decide to bring.

Not only that, but Alice left with Alexander. Jasper is sure that they're doing it for a reason, leaving for a reason. Wyn is talking to Peter and Charlotte now, wanting to get some witnesses, some help. Jasper is standing outside, letting his skin sparkle in the Texan sun. The empath has missed Texas, and that's why he chose Dallas as the honeymoon location.

"The child was born?" Charlotte asls Wynonna as they sit in the living room. "Oh, god."

"It's new, I know," Wyn claims. "But we're needing as many witnesses as possible before the snow sticks..."

"And you were already here," Peter adds with a smug grin as Jasper steps back inside. "When are we needed in Forks?"

"As soon as possible," Wynonna replies as Jasper leans against the wall beside the front door.

Peter and Charlotte share a look while the newly webs share one as well. They're all worried about what's going on back home in Washington. The kids have been staying at Sam and Emily's while Wyn is on her honeymoon and she spoke with Emily after Rose, she said she's keep them until after the Volturi leave, and keep them on wolf land.

"We'll meet you there," Peter finally speaks up. "You guys go ahead. We're right behind you."

Jasper and his wife speedily pack up and Jasper runs it to his car. Wynonna gets in behind the wheel and Jasper gets into the passenger's seat. Charlotte and Peter get into the car, deciding just to hitch a ride with their friends to Washington instead of traveling by foot.

By the time they make it home, the Cullen yard is filled with witnesses. Benjamin and his coven from Egypt. Benjamin can influence the elements, which Wynonna finds absolutely amazing. And then there's Senna and Zafrina from the Amazon, they got here right before Jasper, Wynonna, Peter, and Charlotte.

There's also the Denali; Carmen, Eleazar, Kate, and Tanya. Wyn is glad that Irina isn't here, or else she'd use her webs to rip her head off her shoulders for bringing the Volturi down on them.

Emmett and Rosalie brought a guy named Garrett. He's... not really a type of person Wynonna would hang around but he's actually pretty cool once you talk to him. His red eyes unsettled Nigel but Wyn says he's safe, he's kill anyone who touched him, that earned respect from most of the vampires there.

All but Alastair. He's a friend of Carlisle's. He is angry because of the Volturi's attention being on the Cullens, and Carlisle dragging him into it. The way Wynonna sees it, Alastair could have said no to Carlisle and stayed away but he came. And Wyn said exactly that to him.

Alastair respects Wynonna for standing her ground, but he still hides out in the attic of the house. Wynonna doesn't mind. She'd rather not see Alastair's face if he was going to be grumpy and ruin the air's mood, upsetting Adam, who she has right now, despite all the vampires. She'd kill them deader than they already are if they tried something.
