Starting off with the basics. Yeah, of course that's basic. Everything and everyone is really weird in this wedding world.
"Um, let's see. Oh there's this one. I wasn’t actually working with this one personally. But another wedding planner I worked with told me about it. It was a pair of male identical twins marrying a pair of female identical twins in a double wedding," she tells me.
"That sounds pretty cool actually. Not something that I'd want to happen for myself. But I don't hate the idea. It's unique and weird. Weird is fun" I chuckle.
"And they wore matching outfits for the wedding" she says.
"I mean, that does sound kind of fun. Like a optical illusion of seeing things double-"
"And they insisted on a perfectly symmetrical wedding venue for the event," she adds in.
"Okay, well, maybe that's taking things a little bit too far," I say.
"And they tried to use makeup and wigs to make all the bridesmaids and groomsmen look alike too," she further adds in.
"Alright, alright. Stop there. Yep, that's freaking creepy and I'm creeped out," I say.
"Me too. The poor wedding planner," she snarls.
Just then, the waitress appears and sets down the food in front of both of us. I stare at the food and it stares back at me.
I take the first bite as Piyuu curiously stares at me.
"So..do you like it?"
I attempt to smile while keeping my mouth shut and give her a thumbs up.
"Oh, that's good!" she says excitedly.
"How about a burger toast?" I ask.
"You mean, as in like a regular toast, but instead of our glasses, we tap our burgers together?" she asks.
"Exactly. What do you want to toast to? You go first," I tell her.
"To the start of your wedding planning business, I guess," she says smilingly.
"Now my turn. I'll toast to yummy dinners with pretty girls!" I say.
"What? Isn't it kind of- Oh wait, you mean, the pretty girl is me?" she asks in surprise.
"That's what I was getting at, yes. You're very pretty. Almost as pretty as me," I say with a smug face.
"Uh, thank you!" she shakes her head.
"What? You don't like the toast? I said you're almost as pretty as me, which makes you the second prettiest girl in the whole world. You should be happy!" I say with a smirk on my face.
"No no, I like the toast. Thank you for the compliment" Piyuu looks down at her burger with adorable little grin on her face. I'm calling it: she's officially a national treasure.
"Cheers!" We tap our burgers and each take a bite. Gosh, why was I even afraid of this at first place?
We finish our burgers before heading home for the evening. I've got a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

The next day, I'm doing some more wedding research (ain't the internet great?) when I get a video call from Siyaah.
"Heeeeey my newly married! How's the honeymoon going?" I ask.
"Konnichi- aw heck it. Hi from Japan! And my honeymoon is going amazing! We've spent practically the whole time on the beach today, and I swear the food is soo damn good here," she says excitedly.
"Well, I won't believe in your swears if I don't get a taste myself! Don't dare to forget buying tons of gifts for me!" I say.
"Yes, yes, noted. I'll surely buy alot of foods. But listen, I need to get going so I don't have much time to talk now but I've heard from Aria that you finally took my advice and are doing the wedding planning thing for real" she says.
"Oh, Siyaah, never missing on the latest gossips. Even when you're in honeymoon" I laugh.
I quickly fill her in on all the details, not holding anything back about Nini.
"So, yeah, this is either the best decision of my life, or the worst one. But on the bright side, I actually got my second client yesterday!"
Siyaah says..nothing.
I thought the video froze because of unstable internet connection but I can practically hear Siyaah frantically typing on her laptop. For a second, I worry that she got so bored about my story that she's zoned out. But then my phone buzzes with a new email notification.
"There you go! I just sent you a wedding photo of me and Chan" she says.
"Yeah, I received it. But, what am I supposed to do with this?" I rise a brow.
"You can hang it up and say it's a photo of your first happy customers!"
Woah, that's actually a good idea! If I can hang up photos of wedding of my clients, it'll make a great business strategy. And this way, more people will be eager to deal with me.
I check out the photo that Siyaah sent. Why do they look so adorable?
"Thank you, Siyaah! I'll print it out as soon as possible. Also I'm planning on opening a Facebook page to do publicity. I can use this as my first cover photo, right? I'll make a post and tag you as well" I blurt out in one breath.
"Yess that'd be great! I'll leave a nice feedback. Do notify me when you're done. Oh, niki, seems like you're super excited" she smiles.
"This is unlike anything I've done before. I've got to see where this new business leads me" I shrug.
She chuckles "I know you'll do great. So, Niki, I'm kinda short on time. But you know how I asked you to water the cactus plants on at my apartment when I was gone?"
Uh, no? Yes? Crap! This wedding planner business totally took over my brain!
Siyaah's way too good at reading my silence.
"You forgot, but that's okay. Don't worry. We're good. It hasn’t been long so they should be able to survive. Just..maybe go over there now!
