"Hang on, I haven’t agreed to any of these," I blurt out.

"..yet. You mean you haven’t agreed to any of these yet. But I know you'll do it so I didn’t ask!" Aria smiles. I sigh.

"So you don't think you're capable of this then, huh?" Nini smirks.

"Of course I can!" I growl.

Nini rolls his eyes, "Well, well. But you won't put your money so high where your mouth is, ha."

I could walk away now. My soul will say to walk away now. Hell, if a friend asked me what to do in such a situation, I'd tell them to walk away now. This isn't worth it.

But if I walk away now, I'll never get closure. And I couldn’t live with that. So there's no choice.

"You know what? Fine, it's a deal" I roar.

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I don't have a ton of time to worry about the ultimatum Nini gave me last night.

Today's my first real job for total strangers. I'm just acting as a coordinator and tying up a few loose ends. But, honestly? With everything else that's going on right now, I'm kinda freaking out.

"What if I spill something on the bride's dress? Or worse, set it on fire?" I wonder aloud.

Fortunately, Siyaah is on video call to be the voice of reason.

"I don't even where you're getting this from, Niki. You’ve never been clumsy" she rolls eyes.

I nod, "Okay, but, what if nobody shows up in the wedding?"

Siyaah sighs, "This is a wedding, Niki. Not an eight-year-old's birthday party. People take these seriously. And if, by some weird strike of fate, nobody actually shows up to the wedding, Chanyeol and I can jump on the next flight home and attend the wedding ourselves."

"But, what if my ex-fiance is on the guest list?" I ask frowning.

Siyaah rolls her eyes, "Atif is not going to show up to the wedding. He's..just not. Got it? And again, if by some weird strike of fate, he does show up, you're gonna show him what he missed by letting you go."

"How?" I question.

She smiles, "By living your best life!"

"Wait, wait, wait. What if it's actually a nudist wedding?" I ask.

Siyaah shakes her head, clearly disappointed.

"What? That could actually happen!" I say.

"You literally said you got this job reference from a dressmaker. So there's clearly at least some clothing involved in this. They're not getting married naked" she says.

"Well, honestly, you're not wrong. I got this. Just gotta keep my chin up," I smile and look at her, "..like this."

"Exactly! And you're gonna message me tonight on how amazing this wedding was. Because, I know as a fact that it's gonna be awesome!" she exclaims, "Now, didn’t you call me because you wanted a second opinion on outfit?"

"Right. So I picked up something yesterday that's a little different from what I wear usually. I don't know if I should wear this or not," I say.
