"Hey! You came to meet me, not him!" I yell, loud enough for Sehun to hear. He turns at us.
And all of a sudden, Piyuu's cheeks become red as blood. I swear, she glares daggers at me with eyes so wide that it literally pops out of her head. I try to control my laugh seeing her expression.
She quickly grabs my hand and pushes me away with her.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
I've been talking to Piyuu for half an hour. And not going to lie, she really did help me to sort out the mess that I'm in and manage things to be done serial wise.
We both stare at the paper work that we just made as a rough plan on how to not mess this whole thing up.
"Yikes. That's a lot of pressure on you, Niki. But it's you we're talking about. You've surely got it," she says enthusiastically.
"Ugh, I really feel like I'm screwing up big time. I've been spending all this time trying to plan weddings when I literally could've been applying for new accounting jobs," I feel like I'm starting to sob.
"Hey, stop right there! None of that! You're doing amazing, Niki! And what happened at the dressing wasn't your fault! And even Jongin agrees on that! Don't lose hope so fast, whatever you're doing, you're good at it!" Piyuu says with a calm assuring tone. Hmm, I guess she isn't wrong on that note. I wouldn't have been picked or given opportunities if I hadn't got what it requires.
"You’re right, Piyuu. I'm going to prove them all wrong," I promise.
God, stop wallowing Niki! Put on your big girl plants and slay it like a motherfucking boss bitch.
"I'm not going to let my stupid nerves, my jerk-ass client, and least of all Atif get in the way of my success," I snap.
"Yas! That's the spirit! You've got this, Niki! And I've never had any doubt about it to begin with!" Piyuu shoots me a grin.
From the back, we here an excited roar that makes Piyuu jump out of her seat.
"Oh my god, what noise was that?" she yells, throwing her feet everywhere.
"Why the fuck are you so scared of a dog barking?"
Sehun comes in carrying Vivi with him.
"Sehun? What are you doing here? Didn't you want us to stop distracting Vivi and you?" I roll eyes. "Wait, you weren’t stalking from the back, were you?" I ask with mg eyes wide open.
He rolls his eyes booing, "In your dreams, Niki. I came by to say that I'm taking Vivi for a walk. Are you about to leave now or should I give the keys to you?"
Okay.. clock's ticking, Niki. Let's get this show on the road.
"I should probably get started. My to-do list is growing by the second," I tell him.
"Need some company? My scedule's wide open today, as a matter of fact," Piyuu says.
"Are you sure?" I ask.
"Totally sure! I've got all my works for the rest of the day done. So we can head out whenever you say!" she tells me.
Okay, let me get this loud and clear, Piyuu's officially a life saver.
And I don't want to jinx it or anything, but I might actually be able to pull this off.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Okay so, my first stop is the restaurant that Nini wants me to book. It's located in the nice part of Seoul, which is already saying a lot. I can be pretty sure that the carpet laying on this restaurant costs more than my entire apartment.
"Wow..I think I'm a little, I mean, a lot underdressed for this place," Piyuu whispers to me, gazing at the place with surprise.
"I know right? Look at me!" I whisper back at her. "You know what, just try to act as natural as possible."
Maybe if we just smile really wide, then they'll be so disturbed that they'll have to help us.
"I'll go and try to flag down the hostess," I give her a reassuring smile and make my way towards one of the hostesses.
"This is ridiculous! I demand to be seated!" a male voice to the hostess yells just as I reach close enough.
The poor hostess mumbles "Sir, I'm very sorry, but since you don’t have a reservation, we can't just seat you just yet-"
"What kind of establishment are you people running here?! You can't even handle a simple request, it boggles the mind!" the man yells at the hostess that she flinches.
Karate chopping a stranger in the throat is considered to be rude, isn’t it?
I rush towards them and tap on the man's shoulder.
"Hello sir. Is that your porsche outside?" I ask.
I don’t even know if there is a porsche outside. You can call it a hunch.
"Yes? Why do you ask?" he says with concerned eyes.
Nailed it.
"Oh, actually it just looked like it was getting towed. You might've just parked in the wrong spot. That's okay, that's quite easy to do in the city to be honest," I say with a formal expression, convincing enough to make him think I work here.
He frowns, seems like he has started to dread. So I play along and add on more drama, "My concern is that it might cost you. Those tickets can run you upwards of a hundred thousand wons."
"Excuse me, please.." he hisses.
And...that's it, the man's about to lose his shit. He hurrily pushes through me and Piyuu to get to the exit door.
After the jerk is gone, the hostess shoots me a relived look. I fist bump Piyuu.
"You really are a mastermind!" Piyuu says enthusiastically.
The hostess seems to agree with Piyuu on that note. She nods, "Thank you so much for handling him. If this lasted any longer, I'm pretty sure that I would've lost my mind completely!" she says.
