The next evening, I visit Aria and Luhan's apartment again to discuss about venues. Finding something big enough around here isn't a easy task. But I hope I've managed to put together a half-decent list of options.

Once I see who's sitting at the kitchen table, however, I forget all about all that.

Yup, it's my least favourite smug, snobby and frustratingly sexy CEO, Kim Jongin.

"Nikita," he mutters.

"Huh? I'm not nikita! I'm her twin sister!" I blurt out.

"Oh, I see. Another display of your amazing maturity, Niki," he rolls his eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about. But I swear I'm not Nikita or Niki!" I mumble.

"Niki, stop..just stop. Not only is this a lame prank and it's not making me laugh, but also you're not fooling anyone in case you don't know. Aria, now do you believe me when I say that you're making a grave mistake?" he growls.

"Mistake? What mistake are you talking about?" I growl.

"Exactly what you think it is, hiring you. Apparently, when you told them about leaving your last job, you forgot to mention a very important detail, the part where you got sacked" he puts his hands in pocket of his pants, shrugging.

"Yes, I didn't mention that part because I don't see how that's relevant to this at all. I don't talk irrelevant stuff. Because, here, I'm perfectly capable of planning her and Luhan's wedding" I roll eyes.

"Oh, is it so? Just like you're perfectly capable of slapping your boss in front of all your co-workers and the CEO?" he raises an eyebrow.

"Whoaaa, badass!" Aria says, startled.

"What happens when the flower vendor shows up at the wrong venue? What happens when the bride's running late? Will you be perfectly capable of handling it like a professional? Or will you snap under the slightest bit of pressure?" he growls.

"Excuse the fuck me? Listen up, yes, I lost my cool then. But I snapped after three goddamn years of being pressurized as hell, wouldn’t you do same freaking thing if it were you in my damned shoes?" I growl over his voice.

"No I freaking won't. You know why? Because I'd address the damned issue as soon as it arose before my personal feelings got the better me like you. And why'd I? Well, because that's what a professional does," he snaps.

Aria comes in-between us "Okay, brother, if this is getting at your professionalism hangup, I'm going to have to stop you right there."

Nini rolls his eyes, "It's not a hangup, it's a standard. When providing a service, one must leave their personal life at the door and keep their emotions in check."

Luhan steps forward, "Jongin, as a psychiatrist, I understand better than anyone the need to be level-headed and impersonal. But I also know that to err is human."

Nini shakes his head, "Nope, error wasn’t the issue here, it was the way she handled it. Unless and until she can find a healthy way to express her anger, I wouldn’t recommend her as an employee to anyone, let alone my beloved one and only sister."

"Can you quit talking about me as if I'm not literally standing right here, Mr. Kim?" I growl.

Aria nods, "Yes, Niki, we can. We're keeping you on."

Nini gets startled, "You're still keeping her on?"

Hell yes! In your face, Kim Jongin.

"Thank you so much Aria! I won't let you down, I promise!" I say.

"Of course you won't sweetheart! You did an awesome job at Siyaah and Chanyeol's wedding, so I know you'll knock this out of the park!" she exclaims.

Nini sighs, "Didn't either of you hear any of the words that I said? I know she seems amazing, but the first time something goes wrong, just see how she reacts."

Ugh, shut up, you're not important.

But wait..

"Did you just call me amazing?" I grin.

"I said you seem tolerable at the first sight. By that I mean, you manipulate" he rolls his eyes.

"Well, when something goes wrong, and given that this is a wedding, something will definitely go wrong, we'll be the judge of her capabilities then.

Nini sighs, "Very well. But when she's flipped the catering table over some spat with one of the bridesmaid, don't call me then."

Oh please, no one wants you.

"Everyone deserves a second chance, brother" Aria says with puppy eyes.

Luhan nods, "And also, I believe there's a side of Niki that you haven’t seen yet. I was very impressed with her conduct at my suit appointment."

I chuckle, "Thank you so very much, Luhan. I promise I'll try to live up to that."

"Personally, I think that the woman I worked with that day is much more of Niki than the one pushed over the edge at your company, Jongin" Luhan tells Nini.

Nini shows visible disgust in his voice, "Well, call me up when this imaginary creature 'Professional Niki' emerges. I'd absolutely love to meet her."

"Well, you know what? You can! Come with me to my dress fitting next week" Aria's eyes brightens.

"You know what? Sure, I'll take you up on that" Nini grins.

What the fuck..

I turn to Aria, "Wait, can we talk about this?"

Nini laughs, "Niki, I'll even make a deal for you. If you can get through this without making a complete fool of yourself, you're welcome to plan the wedding. I'll approve you."

I laugh, "So do you mean, if I can't, you'll appoint yourself a wedding planner?"

He shakes his head, "I'll appoint myself the wedding planer with Aria and Luhan's approval."

The two of them exchange a look, clearly as confused as I am. But Aria speaks up.

"You know what? Deal. But only because I know for a fact that Niki is going to a great job" she smirks.

"Hang on, I haven’t agreed to any of these!"
