Oh hell no, if we're going to go all out. Then we're really going to go all out.

"Actually we're just going to have two glasses of the most expensive drink that you have and two of the most expensive entrees that you have," I smile.

"Right away miss.." he awkwardly gazes at me and scurries off. I almost choke from laughing. That's right buddy, we've got the big bucks here at this table.

"You didn't even try to pronounce them! That's cheating!" Piyuu complains.

"I'm too fancy to waste my precious air pronouncing things, Piyuu. You should know that," I wink.

"Oh, of course," she suppresses a laugh.

A few minutes later, the waiter appears again with a very fancy-looking drink.

"This cabernet is a 2007 vintage, with hints of blackberries and currant, and layers of rich chocolate and vanilla. It's a complex, full bodied specialized drink from us. I hope you enjoy it," the waiter bows and steps away as Piyuu and I pretend to swirl the drink around in our glasses.

"Are you sure we're sophisticated enough to drink this?" Piyuu frowns.

"Nope, but cheers!" I raise my glass and clink it with hers. I don't know about blackberry and currant, but this is definitely the best drink I've ever tasted.

Just then, the waiter appears yet again with our entrees and sets them down on the table.

"Enjoy," he says politely and bows.

Um..

"What is this?" Piyuu stares at the dish wide-eyed, observing the details.

"I don't know! I didn't even look at the menu!" I shrug.

"Well, it's certainly..pretty. But I've no idea what this could be made of.." Piyuu says.

"Okay, at the count of three?" I pointedly look at her raising my fork. I count down for us and we both dig in. I take the biggest bite I can feasibly fit in my mouth.

"Ohrmgord.." Piyuu mumbles while her mouth's still stuffed with the food. Savory, creamy, buttery, but at the same time so fresh. It's bomb.

"A toast to you, Piyuu. You've been a big help while I try and figure out this crazy dinner. And for saving my ass with those paper flowers that day," I smile.

"I'm just glad that everything worked out and that you've got your job back."

Hmm, now might be a good time to bring up what we were talking about earlier.
