The forbidden Scroll (the carriage ride)

The next day we were all in the carriage, I was sitting next to James while Ava gave us looks as if to say HA my ship will happen. I so wanted to kill her at that moment. 

It was actually her that said that we should sit together. I, stupidly, agreed as I didn't know how squashed It would be. James and I were squashed up against each other, our shoulders touching and my wing's cramped from being in a small space, It was hard hiding them for this long in these conditions.

 I had barely slept that night as I didn't know if I could trust their dad, especially since I hadn't met him before. It was fine if James and Ava knew about the scroll because I had known them for longer and I had to explain it to them because I used it to kill the ravagers that attacked us. We had been traveling most of the day and my wing's had pins and needles. I was also hungry. 

"Does anybody want some fish or mushrooms?" I asked while pulling the remnants of our dinner from 2 days ago. "Yes please," Ava and James said in unison. "Um, what," the king said while looking at me as if to say okay, that's weird, but I didn't care, I was hungry. We finished the last of the fish and mushrooms, Ava had the mushrooms while James and I shared the little bit of fish that was left. "Oh, sharing meals are we," Ava said, she looked at us with a face that said I am sooo remembering this. "Kindly, shut up," I said, my face had turned into a tomato again.

We stopped to take a break halfway through the day. Ava and I had found some berries and were now sharing them with everyone. A light breeze had started and I found myself shivering. James had obviously noticed and said "are you cold, your shivering,", I felt his arm settle on my back and pull me in closer to him. All of a sudden the King of Crather said "alright everyone, we should get back on the road if we want to get to Roch by nightfall,".

We were back in the cramped carriage and on our way to Roch, it had just started to get dark and I felt myself getting tired. Before I knew it, I was asleep.
